Rosemary cottage is one of three cabins which rest on the edge of a lake in the heart of the Banhoek conservancy. It is a light filled, modern cabin with a wood fired hot tub, direct access to endless hiking and the finest mountain biking trails in the western cape. Although it is intended as a two person cabin, there is an open queen sized pod attached to the living room which can sleep 2 children or an extra guest for a small extra fee. There is an infrared sauna below the dam for you to use.

From the moment we received the keys, we were given a detailed guide on how to get around. The kids loved the swimming pool and that VIEW?! Breathtaking. Our trip was made all the more special by our stay in Carol's beautiful home. It was full of wonderful art and artifacts and staying there was one of the highlights of our holiday. We all enjoyed the big, comfortable rooms, the lovely outside dining areas and appreciated all the amenities. The kids loved the sparkling pool and expansive, attractive garden. Carol was so friendly and relaxed and made us feel so welcome. We would wholeheartedly recommend their spot and hope we can stay there again in the near future.

I recently had the delightful experience of staying at Seas the Day in The Strand, and I cannot recommend this place highly enough! From the moment I arrived, I was enchanted by the stunning location and breathtaking sea views. The apartment itself was nothing short of exquisite. Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, it offered all the amenities I could have desired. The spacious and inviting layout provided an ideal retreat after a day of exploration. Our host, Sean, was always available and exceptionally accommodating, which enhanced our stay even further. In summary, my time at Seas the Day was an unforgettable experience filled with beautiful scenery, warmth, and comfort. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a wonderful getaway in The Strand!
