Looking for some quiet and solitude our cabin is located in the country sitting on 20 acres of wooded land with walking trails, wildlife, and solitude. But we are still just a short drive to nearby communities for numerous activities to enjoy. We have kayaks and a canoe for rent enjoy an evening on a nearby lake watching the sunset and listening to the loons or enjoy some fishing from the kayak. In the winter enjoy our Outdoor Sauna, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, x-country skiing, or ice fishing.

Take your kids/grandkids back to the 1980's, when going to the lake meant creating meaningful memories face to face. Spend the day swimming, or kick back & watch the many eagles around our property. Spend the night in the game room playing pool, foosball, darts. Finish the night choosing a movie everyone can watch, then pick books from our library to wind down under all-cotton sheets & quilts. This custom-built, 2880 sq ft house sits on 4 acres, w/ 336 ft of shoreline on Height of Land Lake.

Tree House

The Tree House, an upstairs dwelling, is in a peaceful setting. A unique topography supports numerous species of wild life including nearly 200 species of birds. The Tree House is located near the head waters of the Mississippi river, Tamarac National Wild Life Refuge, Detroit Mountain Recreation Area, golf courses, casinos and North Country Trail. A full kitchen and a comfortable indoor setting makes a lovely getaway. The rock fire pit is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature.

Great in the summer and better in the winter. Plenty of space to gather as a family & enough space to get away from one another too. In the summer enjoy two wood fire pits, a gas firepit, a hot tub, an outdoor shower, great fishing, board & yard games. In the winter enjoy the cozy fireplace, ice fishing, snowmobile trails and proximity to Detroit Mountain ski hill. Great for a large family. 3 hours from Maple Grove and 65 min from Fargo. A pontoon is available for an extra fee.
