This was a wonderful place to stay. An authentically historic home with the beauty of old wood, the original large pine table and working old hearth. Yet it had all the comforts we expect and was spotlessly clean. There were several additional historic buildings on the large working farm. The view from the dining table and either porch is breathtaking. Best for us was Inga’s exceptional friendliness and the invaluable help she gave us in tracking down information on local family heritage. A reminder to bring your own shower toiletries. Exceptional place to stay!

Very lovely stay, hope to come back one day ! The house is really magical and everything was as clean and functional. The water has a bit of a taste, like some other guests noted, so we brought a few bottles with us just for drinking and it was no problem. Bente left us some delicious home-made biscuits for our arrival. It was easy to access and park. It snowed a lot, but everything was regularly plowed. Thank you for everything !

Great place for overnight stay next to easy busy road. Nice fireplace! Just during the snow melting period, it was muddy in the courtyard but not a big problem for us.

Loved it - it was a perfect spot for my family - quiet and private, with easy access to wonderful parts of the city - walkable to the waterfront. Very safe and charming.

This is an absolutely gorgeous place that would highly recommend. A real farmer's idyll, with a lovely farmyard, a house you want to move into, and walk you a hundred meters down the road you have a swimming area that provides fresh bathrooms and postcard photos. Very lovely host and beautiful cozy house that we are dreaming to come back to🥰😍

The house is brand new and felt very spacious for the 4 of us. We appreciated the 2 bathrooms both equipped with a shower, 2 out 3 bedrooms with double beds and the sauna with a view! The living room also had a beautiful nature view not blocked by the closest neighbouring houses since it is located on the outer part of the housing area. Great location for all sorts of skiing and other winter activities! The house is located on a slope and is accessed by a flight of stairs from the parking lot - it was no big deal for us but might be a good thing to know.

It was a very cozy house that contained everything that was necessary. Was nice and tidy, and just what we needed. A nice house that is nicely located. The host responded to all inquiries quickly and was accommodating.

Lovely cottage with a large lovely hot tub. Perfect for large group of friends or multiple families. Also located very nicely with a good distance to the next cabin.

A fantastic cabin located 150 meters from the ski slope. The spa area was spacious and very comfortable. It is worth noting that even though there are 3 bedrooms in the listing, one room is really once before the bedroom on the 2nd floor with only one bed. We had a great time and would love to come back another time!

Nina is a very lovely host. She responds immediately and helped us with finding activities and things to do in the area. She also invited us over for some mulled wine and prepared a bonfire for us. The view from the house is amazing, the interior is cosy, perfect for a cosy getaway

Beautiful apartment right on the slopes, views of the ski slopes, all afternoon sun. Very suitable for early skiing from 7:00 (2x a week) and night skiing. Nearby cross-country skiing. Good kitchen equipment. Large comfy beds. Bathroom very nice. Washing machine available but not used. We will be happy to come back.

Wonderful place, clean, roomy, everything we needed. Close to everything, many restaurants and things to do. Extremely responsive and friendly to correspond with.

Heidi answered all our questions both before and during our stay. Heidi was flexible with our check in and check outs, which was very helpful to us. The apartment was wonderful and had everything that we needed with a well equipped kitchen. We also loved the comfortable beds and that the living area opens out to great sized balconies. Thank you for a great stay and we hope to visit again in the future.

The house is lovingly decorated and we discovered many beautiful details. In the kitchen there is everything you need for cooking. A personal contact with Kristin did not take place (it was also not necessary, as everything went smoothly), but she responded quickly to inquiries. We highly recommend a stay.

We rented the cottage for six nights (a family of 4). We had a great time in the cabin, which is spacious and homely and has everything you need. It is a few minutes to drive to Grövelfjäll and walking distance to Storsätra mountain hotel if you want to try their dinner. The area is quiet and there are beautiful views of the mountains. Grövelsjön's good opportunities for cross-country skiing are also easy to get to. We had an electric car and had good experience charging the car at Småbruket Västerbäcken as well as at Storsätra mountain hotel. Ulrika and Rikard were great hosts, through good information and communication. Highly recommend Ulrika and Richard's cottage!

Our second stay here, it was as nice as the first time. Aside from the abundance of sheep, we had zero issues here. We had a very flexible check in and everything was as expected. We'll happily stay here again when possible.

Had a very calm night there and enjoyed being out in nature in a warm hut. The view over the lake is amazing and I loved checking everything out with the binoculars!

Spent a long weekend with children and grandparents. The cabin is incredibly nicely located and has a high standard. Both children and adults had a good time. We are looking forward to renting again this winter. Highly recommended.

We loved Anne’s house so much. We and our dog felt right at home. The view is amazing. To sit on the terrace with this view, you feel like you’re on top of the world! It’s also very private and quiet, with no direct neighbours. The house is nicely decorated, we really loved the very comfy sofas. Highly recommended, we hope we can come back here one day!
