Please note our base rate is for 2 guests with access to 1 bedroom only (upstairs super king bed). The second bedroom (downstairs queen bed) will be locked. If you require 2 bedrooms for 2 people, please adjust the number of guests to 3 adults (selecting infants/children does not open the room as there is no charge for their stay) We are situated directly next door to Morpeth’s historical River Royal pub which offers a quiet atmosphere mid week and a social evening Fri/Sat (closes at 11pm)

The Stables

Bring the family to this great place with lots of room for fun. This new two bedroom, purpose built property, set within a large tree filled estate will set you at ease. You can lounge in the comfort of your spacious living area or relax under the pergola as you listen to the birds sing in the tall trees around you. If action is more your pace, the options are endless, play a local round of golf, head to the beaches of Port Stephens or Newcastle or visit the vineyards of the Hunter Valley.

GOUIG COTTAGE Nestled in the heart of Morpeth Gouig Cottage has been restored to its former glory. This newly renovated 3-bedroom cottage is only footsteps to the historic Morpeth village and 5 minute drive to the new Maitland Hospital. Browse boutiques, enjoy a coffee in one of the many quaint cafes, relax with a picnic along the banks of the Hunter River, restaurants, wine bar and heritage pubs at your doorstep. Gouig Cottage is only a 30 min drive to Newcastle and 40 min to Pokolbin.

Townhouse with all modern conveniences to make your stay for business or pleasure enjoyable. Air con both upstairs and downstairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to dine in, with full size fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and electric oven and induction cooktop. All cutlery, crockery etc., is provided. All linen, towels are supplied as well as extra blankets and pillows. We welcome guests from all walks of life and want your stay to be a comfortable one.

Newcastle Uni is moments away, John Hunter Hospital is a 7 minute drive. Private entry through the garage & you are welcomed to a leafy backdrop & creature comforts of home. Please note, our beautiful pup Bob is regularly in the yard the flat opens out to. You may see him in the yard during your stay. Pats encouraged 😊
