Nestled among the trees at the top of the ridge of Bell Mountain is our lovely cabin, aptly named The Whip-poor-will's Roost. These bird's distinctive calls can be heard in the early evening hours, a complimentary soundbite to the fresh mountain air. About 20 mi. from the Blue Ridge parkway, and looking out over + surrounded by Stone Mountain State Park and the Doughton Recreational area, this log cabin offers a peaceful getaway with ample access to the outdoors (including our own 18 acres).
