Words do not describe the location. Take a few days, relax, eat at the Landing Steakhouse. Water wheel or Milford Diner for breakfast. Stop by Fox N Hare Brewery/ Pub. Then after all that sit on the deck watch the local wildlife sip your beverage of choice and take in the serenity of the stream and waterfall.

We enjoyed our April 2025 stay very much. Actually had a visit from a good sized black bear. He saw us at the sliding glass doors and decided to go back into the woods. We believe he might have been heading to the pond/stream across the way. There was 5 of us and there was plenty of room. If you get the bedroom on the bottom floor and find it too chilly, turn on little heater that’s on the wall and shut the bedroom door. It worked great. Everything in home was spotless. Decorated nicely. Bring your streaming passwords to watch TV. We sat out front made S’mores. Also used grill, great plus. If you go with dogs or smaller children bring a wide baby gate to put on back deck to keep them on the deck. It was a great wrap around deck by the way, it is closed off at the front. Washer and dryer worked well. You really won’t be disappointed in choosing this Airbnb. Anna kept in good contact before and after stay. Enjoy if you do decide to visit. 😊👍🏼

Great place overall! Perfect for a couples getaway and solo getaways as well. Peter was really accommodating with our fire providing us with extra wood to have a pleasant evening watching the fire. Along with great recommendations and things to do. Hot tub was very clean and easy to use. Definitely coming back here again. Highly recommend the River Rail Cottage!

The Victorian was a beautiful home and very well appointed. We enjoyed the recreation area near the falls, having our morning coffee by the fireplace, and using the sauna in the chilly weather was quite an experience! We hiked a nearby trail and were pleasantly surprised with the beautiful lake and views of the Delaware. Milford is a quaint town with nice shops and restaurants where we spent a nice afternoon. Thank you Travis for a memorable weekend retreat during this hectic holiday season!
