Me and my friends had a girls trip and this was the best place we could've stayed at! The place was very clean and welcoming, nice and quiet to rest and relax at the end of the day! Coming and going was super easy, and checkout was stress-free. We would all recommend this place to all of our friends and stay here again!

We've stayed in this condo complex last year for Merrie Monarch and really like the location. The view was amazing! Walking distance to restaurants/coffee shop we frequent. Everything was clean and we appreciated having access to netflix, etc, when relaxing at night. We never cooked, but noted that the kitchen was well stocked. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay in the unit again.

People come to Puna for the community, for Kehena Beach and for getting away from the resorts and crowdds of "regular Hawaii". Scott's place puts you right where you want to be to experience this part of the Big Island. Location is as perfect as it gets for Kehena beach, no worries about parking, just walk across the road! the unit is huge with a patio, private parking, big living space and kitchenette with full size fridge. lots of space all around. I couldn't recommend more if you know the area and know the best place to be!

Clean, comfortable place to stay in Hilo. Close to downtown and other local spots.

Amber and Terry were so helpful providing great recommendations. We had the best French Canadian soup at a restaurant she recommended with a view of the bay. (And we are Canadian!). The place was a perfect place to stay while we explored all that Hawaii had to offer. To top it off, they went out of their way to ensure that our last day on the island was memorable.

Wonderful home just southwest of Naalehu. We were making our way around the island and found this spot and glad we did. Only about 25 min drive from South Point. Hiking, cliff jumping and the green sand beach all in close proximity. There’s also a farmer’s market in town on Wednesdays that has lots of local food, fruit, coffee, gifts etc. Great hosts and made us feel right at home. They answered all my questions and even provided fresh fruit. There is a big “Park Here” sign on the grass, so there’s no confusion about where to park your vehicle. We will definitely stay here again if we’re on this side of the island!

A quiet retreat right on the ocean. Everything was clean and tidy but welcoming to our family. Truly enjoyed our stay at the home and all we visited on the Hilo side of the Big Island. Thank you for hosting us.

We had a party of 6 which included a 6 and 9 year old. The home was clean, especially the bathrooms and kitchen you felt right at home. Although no AC it was still comfortable with the fans and we would be out during the day where it was hot the most. The tv was available and the kids enjoyed it. Loves how there was lots of sitting space and layout of the house. Two bathrooms helped so much with the 6 of us. The outside porch was terrific too. Labels on the light switches helped and were thoughtful. A very convenient location. Thankful for airbnbs available like yours !

We had an unforgettable stay at Sina’s beautiful Japanese-style home! The design of the house was stunning—open, peaceful, and incredibly accommodating for our entire family. The kids were in heaven with the spacious yard, spending hours exploring, playing, and splashing in the pool. The location was perfect—peacefully secluded for privacy and relaxation, yet conveniently close to stores and everything we needed. Sina was a fantastic host: extremely responsive, thoughtful, and supported by a wonderful team that ensured our stay was seamless from start to finish. To top it all off, we were lucky enough to witness the volcano's 25th eruption during our stay—an absolutely breathtaking and once-in-a-lifetime experience! We highly recommend this stay and will definitely be coming back. Thank you, Sina, for sharing your amazing home with us!

Off the beaten path kind of location. Not in a commercial area, so very quiet location. Beautiful views all day! Place has been well kept. Slept to the sounds of waves every night and woke up to sunrises. Janice strives to make you feel right at home. place had games, beach stuff (boogie board, chairs, mats, beach games, cooler). These are the tropics so expect some bugs; no escaping that. Host is very responsive and takes care of anything that may happen.

This is a nice little house conveniently located not too far from Volcanoes National Park. The place was very clean, and the host was extremely responsive and helpful, providing clear instructions for finding the property. While there’s no air conditioning, I was prepared for that and stayed for two nights. At night, you can hear the sound of crickets—it’s quite loud if the doors and windows are open, which may bother light sleepers. Great location for exploring the area!

We had a wonderful stay! The location was fantastic and the views were absolutely stunning. The space was beautifully decorated, cozy, and well thought out. The host was very communicative and made everything easy from start to finish. We’d love to come back!

Our group of 10 stayed here for 5 days and had a great experience. The house was super spacious, clean, and comfy—plenty of room for everyone to relax without feeling crowded. The full kitchen and washer/dryer were big pluses and made the stay feel easy and homey. The neighborhood was quiet and full of nature, with long roads perfect for a morning jog—I loved running along the scenic volcanic coastline. Communication with Diana was smooth and friendly, a big contrast to a previous host I’d contacted. She even had someone meet us to give a quick tour, which was really helpful. The pool and jacuzzi were awesome bonuses, but what really sold me was the space and thoughtful amenities. Highly recommend!

This house is a delight! From the beautiful decor to the view of the ocean, the sound of the waves and the perfect location. Can’t wait to come back! Yes please!

Genes place was very clean,and comfortable. lots of space and nice kitchen area. ceiling fan is a life saver as it can get warm but everything worked great and the the view from the balcony is nice over looking the pool with all the greenery. Mahalo to Gene and O'hana!

This place was fabulous. Everything I had hoped it would be and more. The cove right at the condo was amazing. We walked out at night and got see the turtles. My favorite place so far. The host was awesome too. Hope we get to come back here someday.

I was there with my boyfriend for the week. The location was great! Within walking distance g distance to great restaurants and the best farmers market I’ve ever been to. The views are absolutely stunning. Watching the sunrise in the morning was so beautiful. We felt right at home. I would definitely stay there again! Thank you so much Carla and Joe! It was a little slice of heaven there.

Maggie was very responsive and helpful. She had great recommendations and was flexible when I needed to add a night to my trip. The room has a great location and the balcony was amazing. It was very clean the bed was comfy and the fan combined with the AC kept it very cool. The pool was really big and had fresh water which makes a big difference. Overall a great experience A+ Mahalo Maggie!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Qin's place in Hilo. It was a lovely spot for our night there. Although there wasn't any air conditioning, the fans made it manageable and we felt comfortable overall. The location was incredibly convenient for exploring the area, with easy access to shopping and dining. Qin’s co-host, Mandy, was absolutely fantastic, ensuring that our check-in and check-out experience went smoothly. Every aspect of the space felt unique and special, and we genuinely look forward to returning when we come back to Hilo.

Beautiful views of the lagoons, ocean, volcano and jungle forest firm thus corner unit. Access to Carlsmith Park and lagoons was about 209 yards. Swam with a Honu on the first day I arrived and enjoyed snorkeling in the protected lagoon. The lack of air conditioning was nit a problem in April as the breeze was lovely. The location was a 10’ drive to downtown and very close to the airport. There were a few things missing, like pepper and hair conditioner, but easily obtained. Mindy was the in site manager of the unit and she was very responsive. She was able to download Hawaii News Now so that we could watch the Merrie Monarch competition live. I would definitely stay here again in the Sprung, Fall ir Winter, though I would guess summer might be a bit warm without air conditioning.

I have stayed in a lot of Airbnb accommodations. This condo is the best. It it's perfect for one or two people it they aren't sharing beds. I love sitting on the balcony and watching the waves. I have been here multiple times and I am very comfortable here. Restaurants, market, and beaches are close and easy to access. I love staying here. Thank you!

I wish we could've stayed longer! What a wonderful place to relax! Sitting on the patio or in the pool, and listening to the waves on the shoreline, was amazing! Sonja and Alex were so friendly and helpful - it felt like staying with family. They thought of everything to make the accommodations perfect! We will definitely be back!
