We had the most incredible stay at this ocean view house! The views of the mountains and ocean are truly breathtaking - we spent hours gazing out at the stunning scenery. And when night fell, the starry sky was simply magical. The surrounding area is quaint and charming, with a lovely quiet atmosphere that's perfect for relaxation. The town is easily walkable, with great coffee shops and markets just a short stroll away. And the beaches? Absolutely stunning, and just a stone's throw from the house! The house itself is beautifully designed, with two bathrooms and a separate toilet room for added convenience. The open-plan living space is perfect for socializing, and the deck overlooking the ocean is the ultimate spot for dinner or relaxation. We can't recommend this house highly enough - the price is incredibly reasonable, especially given the amazing views and amenities. We would definitely come back, and can't wait to do so!"

Vanessa’s house is amazing — it’s not like staying in a hotel at all, but in a fully furnished, welcoming home. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioner kept us cozy on a chilly night. The kitchen was well-stocked, with thoughtful touches like milk in the fridge, teabags, and even a bar of chocolate waiting for us on arrival. We loved spending our evenings on the comfy couch, watching Netflix or Apple TV on the impressively large screen. A truly great spot!

This was our fourth stay at Misty River Lodge and won’t be our last. My family, including our little Jack Russell Terrier, loves Helen and Craig’s place. I especially love seeing how the gardens have evolved. We enjoy visiting the beaches up and down the coast — Scotts Head is a favourite — and we love to find new places to eat. Coffs Harbour is only a 45 minute drive north and South West Rocks is just 30 minutes south, so it’s a really central location and close to the highway but so quiet and peaceful. The bird song is relaxing and if you’re an early riser, you might even see the local swamp wallaby down near the creek. We were treated to fresh quail eggs, deliciously sweet tomatoes and tasty vegetables from the garden. As Helen said when we arrived… “Welcome home!” … because it does feel like a home away from home.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here at Mill Cottage. The location was great with beautiful views and close to everything. I highly recommend and we would definitley stay again in the future.

Lovely little apartment with a beautiful sea view and very quiet. It has a lovely sunny patio and you can watch the sun rise over the water. The position is great and only a short walk to the beach and town. Very comfortable bed and lovely quality linen. Great provisions including lovely homemade biscuits, great selection of teas, muesli and lots of pantry staples. Debra was great to deal with and provided lots of local information. Thanks for a very relaxing stay and all the little extras provided.

Thanks so much for hosting us- what a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. We really enjoyed the house which was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. Check in: out was simple, and we had a great instruction manual which gave us great ideas of things to do in surrounding areas. We had a lovely stay at this beautiful Airbnb in Port Macquarie! The home was spotless, well-equipped, and exactly as described. It had a calm, beachy vibe and felt like a perfect little retreat. The bed was super comfortable, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches like kitchen essentials, and local recommendations. The location was fantastic — close to the beach, cafes, and walking trails, yet still quiet and peaceful. Adele was responsive, friendly, and made sure everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Beautifully equipped unit. Tastefully decorated with everything you need. The extra touches were appreciated - popcorn, coffee and biscuits. We were very appreciative of use of sauna. A steep ascent to get to it, but well worth it.

Beautiful private place. Exactly as described. Hosts were super friendly and even provided some free packets of cereal and oats, milk, tea, coffee and sugar. TV had Netflix available for guests.

We loved our stay. we did a walk down to the beach, along the boardwalk at Urunga and at the rainforest in Dorrigo! the place was clean and spacious.

Absolutely lovely beach-side stay, lots of natural light inside and kept very clean. Cafe, restaurants and chemist within short walking distance. Photos are accurate, homely feels and simple instructions/guest book details. Will book again.

Helens place was perfect for a family getaway. The heated pool area was a standout for the kids. Great facilities and easy walking distance to Port Macquarie town centre, beaches and kids park.

I booked this apartment last minute and it was great!!! It’s a lot more spacious than it appears in the photos and really cozy. AMAZING views from the apartment being on the 5th floor. I think it probably has some of the best round views you can get in holiday accommodation there. I could sit on the balcony and enjoy the view for half the day. Some of the decor was like a time time warp to the 80s which I also loved! Very clean tidy cosy but spacious. Easy walk to cafe or beach or dine out.
