Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Harwich

We had a great weekend at Elizabeth's place in Brewster. For us, the location was perfect with a beautiful walking beach <1/2 a mile down a quiet side street as well as being able to ride our bikes a short distance down a dirt road abutting the property to easily access the Cape Cod Rail Trail. The house was warm and cozy, with comfortable beds, and a well-stocked kitchen with everything needed to cook meals throughout our stay. We especially appreciated being about to bring our pup along and she enjoyed running out on the Brewster flats at low tide to chase seagulls and splash around at the edge of the ocean. We would happily come back to enjoy this wonderful spot again hopefully very soon!

My spouse and I stayed at Karleen and Jim’s for a special birthday weekend, and it was exactly as expected. We were in a great location that was very close to Brewster, convenient to Orleans and other places where we wanted to spend time (like the state park, rail trail, and ponds). The kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, colander, grater, and other helpful essentials, and even had a few basic spices and EVOO. We were cozy at home and had a great launching pad for our adventures in the off season. I imagine it would also be comfortable for a family, but it was just the 2 of us and our dog, and Karleen was a very kind, helpful and communicative host. We had no complaints!

What a wonderful week we had on Long Pond! The home was beautiful and had everything we needed from the 4 bedrooms to the well equipped kitchen. The highlight of this home is most certainly the private lakefront beach across from the house. A place you don’t want to leave! The bike path behind the house is also a quick walk for pizza or ice cream, an added bonus! Raj was very accommodating.

First off, Hilary saved the day! We had booked another Airbnb that turned out to be absolutely wretched and Hilary got us in on a last minute request. The place was spotless and we instantly felt right at home. We brought our two big dogs and they loved the yard and, if you're a dog person, you have got to check out Thompson's Field just 4 minutes away - dog paradise (57 acres of dog park with wide sandy trails and lots of amazingly kind dog people there to walk and talk with) We loved the location - less than 3 minutes from Shaws grocery store which has a Starbucks and less than 20 minutes to amazing beaches like Mayflower Beach, West Dennis, and Skaket that allow dogs after Labor day. We loved the house with a big king bed - it's very firm but that's fine by us! - and an en suite bathroom. It has a big deck with a grill that we used daily. Two big thumbs up! Thank you Hilary for making Cape Cod an amazing experience!

We just finished a 4 night girls getaway for my Mom’s birthday. We can’t say enough about Adrianna and Tara’s cottage! We felt right @ home and there was such a peaceful vibe to the cottage. We were able to really relax and enjoyed beautiful sunsets with the fire pit going and wrapped in comfy blankets that they provided. They have thought of everything! The sauna experience followed by the outdoor shower was heavenly. We plan to make this an annual trip and this place is a 5+++, such an amazing stay🌸

Michaels place was great! Michael was very communicative and allowed us to check in when we arrived a bit early. He kindly left us a welcome basket, everything was clean, and the backyard setup was great!

Very nicely appointed and recently renovated/decorated Cape Cod ranch house with shore touches through out. Pretty much everything one could ask for including great location. I am sure the coming additional improvements will make it even a better place to stay.

We had a wonderful long weekend stay at Patrick’s place in South Chatham! The home was exactly as described—clean, modern, and incredibly well-equipped with everything we needed and more. The thoughtful amenities made us feel right at home. The location was perfect: close to downtown Chatham and right on the bike path, which made exploring the area super easy. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot for a relaxing getaway. Would absolutely stay here again!

This house was very clean and adorable. The hosts were very responsive. There was what i believed to be a significant issue on the part of airb&b. They had the wrong adress listed for the house. Again this was not the hosts fault. It was listed as a house in Plymouth but was actually in Bourne, which I was very upset about after driving around for an hour and literally alomost trying to get into a strangers house at night in the dark. Airb&b refused to do anything for me to make this right and blamed it on google maps which is laughable. So for the house and the hosts (residentually) I give 5 stars. For airb&b I give 0 stars.

We enjoyed our stay very much ~ the house and large fenced yard w/deck (perfect for pup) are amazing & the hosts were very kind, accommodating & responsive. The location was great with a short ride to local beaches and/or Chatham for a fun day of shopping or night out. The host’s welcome basket with treats & seltzers were a great surprise after a long day of travel. We loved playing ping pong in the garage! I do suggest the listing bedroom descriptions & photos be updated as we were pleased to find a king bed in the master BR (vs the queen shown) and a full bed (vs the twin) in the downstairs guest-room. Perhaps renovations are underway so we were pleasantly surprised! The only improvements I would suggest are adding a screen door to the deck & heat for the pool, having more wine glasses (the kitchen was wonderfully stocked otherwise), & adding amenities like blankets, washcloths, a hair dryer, beach/pool towels & chairs (we brought our own). We hope to be back next year!!

The home was clean and well located. It was also stocked with necessities for young children which was very much appreciated.

The place was nice and spacious. Great for large family gatherings. The pool was nice and although the water was not heated (which may partially have been due to the weather), Zachary and his team were very responsive and helped troubleshoot pool temperature. Overall we had a great stay!

This home was great for our family. The pool and backyard are beautiful, and the house was clean and welcoming. There are a lot of activities in the area. I would stay here again!

We were a party of 8 people and the house was just right. It could accommodate even more people with no problem. It was clean and comfortable and walking distance from things to do in the area. The kitchen was well equipped and there were extra blankets and towels available to use. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay!

This house was spectacular. More amenities than I would have ever thought of. Gorgeous interior and exterior. The surrounding neighborhood is in need of regentrification but it’s extremely safe and quiet. Once in the home., it’s an oasis. Probably the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in (sample size about 10) Tony is extremely responsive and helpful. This was the perfect home for my daughter’s bridal party to get ready in and shoot pre wedding photos in. Also amazingly comfortable for my large family to stay in for the long weekend.

We love staying at Hillary's home. It was our 4th visit to her home :) We love the location, it's easily walkable to town and so close to the beautiful beach. Highly recommend!

Lovely! Spent graduation weekend at cape with family! Kitchen was excellent. Close to everything. kids loved it.

You won't find more responsive hosts - literally within minutes. Check-in and communication throughout was great. And it's the first rental I've ever seen that had REAL toilet paper! IYKYK! They were super clear about everything. The only small issue we had was with the AC. It's listed as Central AC, which it has but only on one floor. This wasn't a big deal because it was later in the season but if it was in the middle of the summer it would have been an issue. The first floor didn't get any of the AC and just cracking the door from the upstairs wasn't really sufficient to cool it down, even at night. Again, not a problem around Labor Day when we were there but in mid-July I don't think it would have been very comfortable to sleep there. But other than that, a great stay in a great location.

This house was absolutely perfect for everything we had planned for our stay in the Cape. Walking distance to some bars/restaurants and also to Chatham commons which was about 3 miles away. Ubers available but wanted to walk and window shop all the art galleries, cheese shops, and antiques along the way. (A charming Christmas store called Christmas Joy at the end of the street, a must) Harwich was another great place to be either day or night. Five min drive from the bnb to bars/restaurants and to the Freedom Ferry where you can get to Nantucket. Need to write another review for the Freedom Ferry because we had the BEST day with them. Could have stayed longer than 3 nights honestly. Would 110% stay here again. Was traveling with dogs and this yard was top notch for outdoor hangs. Hope to be back soon.

My family and I had a great time here! The house was beautiful and spacious! We will for sure go back to this location when we go back to the Cape!

This place was exactly as advertised. We throughly enjoyed the fire pit and the large tables outside. Short distance to anything we needed. Beach was 5 minutes away by car. Beds were super comfortable and kitchen nicely furnished. We would definitely stay again.

The Happy Yellow House was all I hoped for and more. Clean and well equipped, and very comfortable. The location couldn't be beat! Right down the street from a beautiful Nantucket sound beach and close to the amenities of Chatham. The house is in a quiet neighborhood of summer homes and was very peaceful. Caitlin is a superb host and responded promptly when there was a little snafu with a faulty smoke detector (at 10pm!), offering to have an electrician out on an emergency basis. (The electrician had just serviced the smoke detectors. As Host, Caitlin couldn't have been more pro-active or responsive) Luckily, I was able to solve the problem by simply removing and replacing the batteries. I would not hesitate to book this rental again.

Tyler and Meg were wonderful hosts. They were quick to respond when we had questions. Everything from booking to check out was super smooth. Their property was beautiful! We felt like we were at home during our stay. Every room in the house was unique. Super clean and tidy! They had all the equipment we needed to cook with. The bedding and linen were clean - super cozy in every bedroom. The area we were in was quiet and felt safe. Everything was a convenient 5-15 min drive from the property. Major towns were 30-60min (super smooth car ride over). Thank you so much for hosting us Meg & Tyler 😊
