Tranquil location in a cul-de-sac with the National Park at your back door. Completely self-contained with full kitchen/laundry and luxury bathroom. Unsuitable for children. Very private with separate driveway and off-street parking. Beautiful garden with many native birds. Five minute drive to the beach which has excellent fishing and swimming. Good bike riding around Lake Preston five minutes from the cottage, and a shady park with tennis court/basket ball hoop and free bbq 2 mins walk away

Bush cottage retreat

Accommodation is a small cottage set in bushland, very comfortable and fully supplied with all essentials. The cottage is really only best for a couple, but if required a camp stretcher or porta cot is available.Cooking facilities, frypan, microwave, electric kettle, toaster and dish ware and cutlery supplied. T.V. and wifi available. In winter Pot Belly stove to keep you warm. Only 3 minutes drive to beach. Ample parking for boats, caravans. We don’t allow pets. We have 3 Golden Retrievers.

It is set among Peppermint forests and Tuart trees and has a variety of birds from Black Cockatoos to the adorable little Blue Wren. The parrots come in to feed throughout the day and Kangaroos are often seen grazing a few meters from the homestead. The Little Wren Farm is good for couples and business travellers and is a peaceful, quiet little gem in the country. The sleeper couch can sleep 2 children.

Thank you for a relaxing time spent at the house - we were all very comfortable! The lounge was especially easy to fall asleep on. House really well stocked and the extra touches were a lovely addition. It was nice and quiet and peaceful too.

This place was beyond it’s expectations we wish we booked more time to soak it up more. Lana has put so much effort into making you feel like your home away from home but even better we loved the fully equipped kitchen, so many cute cozy places to relax, amazing natural products through out the home, every spot of the house had amazing detail! We have stayed at a few airbnbs and this would have to be our number one for our little mumcation getaway we will be back for sure!

This house was lovely for our group of 6 adults, 2 kids and 2 babies. 4 rooms, each with comfortable double beds, meant everyone had space. The house is well insulated and comfortable during cold weather, and the bedding provided was more than enough for warmth. We found everything we needed to cook meals with. There is a kayak there, and it was great fun to take it out on the lake. Thanks Eliza!

After travelling 3,500 kms from South Australia Spookwood was a very welcoming place. The property was immaculate, and the house fully equipped with a well-stocked kitchen. Everything had been thought of to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We loved the views and the many peaceful walks on well-worn tracks made by the sheep. The owners have created a lovely home in a beautiful setting – they were very friendly and helpful, as were the caretakers on site. Spookwood Estate and Farm Stay is an amazing place to visit – highly recommended. Mick & Sandy.
