Clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Check-in was smooth, and the location was convenient. We had a comfortable and enjoyable experience—would definitely recommend and stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at "The Burrow"; one of our best experiences with an Airbnb yet. The accommodations were top notch and our host's hospitality was above and beyond. The wrap around porch was our favorite place to relax at any time of day, with spectacular views . We enjoyed an evening next to the firepit with plenty of wood to burn. All in all it was a great experience and we would come back in a heartbeat!

Came here to celebrate my brothers engagement. The house was wonderful and there was plenty to do in the surrounding area. 10/10 would recommend.

I was looking for a quiet weekend getaway with my partner to celebrate my birthday, and that’s exactly what I got! I was hoping for some starry night views and likely would have gotten them, but the weather didn’t want to cooperate which is of course nobody’s fault. The home was clean, cute, comfy, cozy—everything I was looking for! I really enjoyed watching a scary movie and then being surrounded by country darkness, the nice well-priced grocery store just a few minutes away, a spontaneous trip to Seneca Caverns (and their restaurant which has a great Reuben!), and playing board games in the nice naturally lit space. Host was very responsive and informative. Would definitely look to stay here again if I were to make another trip out to Franklin. Thanks Jennifer!

We stayed here for my son’s graduation weekend from JMU. Close enough to campus but also allowed us to take a great 4 miles hike on Saturday morning. Hope to be able to come back for a longer time with the entire family

This place was perfect for our needs. The backyard is beautiful, private, and borders on a park. While the house is a bit quirky, it also has charm—enough so that I suddenly want a sunroom in my own house. We loved having breakfast and working there. There were small things I would have liked to improve, but it was made up for by the good price. Everyone had a great time.

We had a great week in Virginia, the views from the cottage are remarkable. A little bit of a drive to get anywhere noteworthy, but that was expected. All-in-all a great experience with our family and dogs from check-in to check-out. Our host was very thoughtful and responsive.

What a lovely home with stunning views. Very convenient location. Close to everything, Charlottesville, Afton, the Crozet railroad tunnel, mountains etc. The house itself is super cool. Open modern design equiped with everything. The sauna is wonderful! The Our hosts thought of everything! We often commented on the little things we came across that made an impression. Justin was very responsive and made every effort to make sure our accommodations were perfect. Thank you for the wonderful espresso Justin! How nice to wake up in the morning to the gorgeous views while sipping coffee shop quality espresso. We hope to come back every year.

We arrived late after an evening graduation. Easy self check in. Welcome package was a nice touch. The place was equipped with what was needed for a enjoyable stay. We had a car issue and owner messege me with solutions. Fortunately our family picked us up and we were able to continue celebrating. Was able to charge battery with her charger and extension cord. Maya assistance kept the graduation celebrations the focus. Much appreciated !

We had a great time at Tara & Mark's. It was as good as advertised and we really enjoyed the comfortable and clean space, and the beautiful surroundings outside.

Great place with good proximity to Shenandoah! Really nice kitchen with lots of amenities as well as plenty of counter space and seating. We enjoyed the fire pit too. The host was very responsive and communicative!

We are repeat guests at Paula’s and it’s always a great time. Visiting our JMU Duke and staying at the Southern Charm Retreat is always fun, convenient to the campus and relaxing. House is roomy and super clean. The game room is a fun bonus and the back yard deck is beautiful, well maintained and great for entertaining. Thanks as always Paula !

We had a wonderful time here. Nice kitchen, liked the throw blankets; plugs for phones on both sides of the beds, intersting murals. Great weekend get away.

Debbie’s place is a very nice pet friendly apartment. Just as described and nice restaurants within walking distance. Just what we needed to rest after a long day of driving.

This is my second time here. Love the quiet, and relaxed atmosphere. The location is perfect for what I needed.

We stayed at Darwin’s beautiful and clean home for my son’s JMU graduation. We had plenty of space for all of us and we were very comfortable. Darwin is very responsive to any issue and the check in is very easy. I would easily recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, spacious, and quiet place to stay.

John and Gaby are excellent hosts. They were so flexible and kind that I felt as if I were communicating with family. It put me at ease and I was able to concentrate on all of the logistics that come with Mother of the Bride biz. I would definitely return for a weekend away and I wouldn’t hesitate to bring our dog with us. I had also rented two other locations in the vicinity and Maple Crest stood out, by far, as the most enjoyable experience and most personable interactions. We had the time of our lives and are very grateful that John and Gaby generously share their beautiful home!

What an incredible stay! The home was spotlessly clean—truly one of the cleanest Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. Every detail was pristine, which made it feel so welcoming and comfortable. It was also beautifully and tastefully decorated, creating a cozy yet stylish atmosphere throughout. The outdoor space was just as impressive—peaceful, private, and perfect for relaxing. We especially loved the fenced-in hot tub area, which made it easy to unwind while our dogs stayed safe nearby. And the sauna was such a cool and unexpected bonus! The location is secluded enough to feel like a true escape, yet close to wineries, restaurants, and everything else you might need. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. We had the most relaxing weekend with family and friends—this place is a true gem. We can’t wait to return!

We loved staying at Ben's beautiful house in Wintergreen. It was very private, clean and comfortable. When sitting on the deck it was like staying up in a canape of trees. We had a wonderful and relaxing few days and Ben is very easy to contact and gets right back to you should you need anything.

Thanks Laura for answering promptly and staying on the line to work out all kinks associated. Easy communication and the vacation was great, the space was perfect.

Veronica is an amazing host and we had a wonderful time staying there. The place is true to the name - A Time to Chill. We felt right at home as soon as we stepped inside. The kids had a fun time playing arcade games and Foosball. Our evenings were spend mostly in the backyard either in the hot tub or having fun around the bonfire. We couldn't try the pizza oven and felt we should have stayed longer. Definitely, a highly recommended place and we will love to be back soon.

We had a great stay at Bo’s place. It was a nice time to just getaway for a couple days. The pool was a fun way to spend the time. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was awesome for food prep. Loved having my coffee out on the deck in the mornings!
