The Fish House is a beautiful and comfortable place to stay! My husband & I found it to be quite spacious for 2 people. The location was perfect; we were there from Sunday-Wednesday, and it was quiet and peaceful the whole time. It was conveniently located to Irvington, White Stone and Kilmarnock and all those towns have to offer! The A/C is brand new, and very effective against the Virginia heat and humidity. The kitchen had all the essentials for preparing food, and we appreciated the coffee & tea supplies that were provided! The bed is comfortable and we slept well. We spent a lot of time on the deck overlooking the water. As a bird watcher, it was so relaxing to view the local wildlife with the binoculars provided. Michelle is a wonderful host! Her instructions are clear, and checking in and out was easy. She also answered all our questions promptly, and thoroughly. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway on the Northern Neck, stay at The Fish House!

We had a great time at Diana’s place. The water access was awesome and we had lots of fun with the kayaks. We were able to walk through a wooded trail to a nearby restaurant which was so nice. The location felt private and naturally beautiful while being not far from grocery stores and restaurants. Diana’s neighborhood is beautiful and the space is charming and comfortable. Such a fun way to see the Chesapeake, we would love to come back!

Definitely will be going back! Liked it so much I didn’t want to go home lol. Probably rent again in June. Only thing I recommend them to do is to update the pier it is useable. Just use extreme caution! Otherwise absolutely outstanding place!

Byron's place is a great combination of peaceful and secluded, but close to many of the towns around the area. The place has an amazing view with direct access to the water. The porch is a great place to watch sunsets, bird watch, or enjoy a cold drink. Would definitely stay again.
