Suburban Serenity on Selous Road

SusanRating, 5 stars18 months ago
Wow, absolutely stunning! The most beautiful, lush, tropical, garden teeming with incredible bird life, all set around an an an azure Mediterranean cascading pool. Now, if I could only begin to say how unbelievable our hosts Rob and Tina are. The most generous, friendly, lovely & inviting people you could ever possibly be fortunate to meet. We've never felt so welcomed and relaxed to be invited into someone's home. Our cottage was impeccably prepared, all boxes ticked, from comfy bed and crisp linen, pristinely clean bathrooms, unlimited access to TV/all digital networks, amazingly friendly and helpful staff .... the list goes on! From lending us cooler boxes, plugs, inviting us for a drink on their private patio overlooking the pool & magnificent gardens, you just can't go wrong. We will absolutely, without any doubt, return on our way back from our trip through Zim, to Cape Town to stay again!

Beaullah is a very cheerful and welcoming host always ready to do more for her guests. I am certainly going to stay at her place when ever I visit Harare. If you want a peaceful, clean, quiet and private place to stay try Beaullah’s place. Security is good, WiFi is great, power is available 100% of the time, at least during my stay. Available parking spot and private own entrance. The place is a bit out of town but very close to the highway, maybe a 15 minute drive to the city center. The place is kept clean thanks to Oppah. I visited Harare several times in the past few years and use Airbnb, Beaullh’s place ranks very high on the list. Will be back soon.
Two clear wine glasses are positioned beside a bottle of red wine on a rustic wooden table. A ceramic teal candle holder adds a soft decorative touch to the setting.

The Perfect Cottage

ChrisRating, 5 stars74 months ago
Joyce's cottage is very nice – in a quiet area and not far from a main road where fairly frequent transport is available. It's comfortable, clean and well-equipped, and set in very pleasant grounds. We greatly enjoyed our stay and were able to host dinner guests on a few evenings. Joyce herself was a great host, very responsive and helpful in response to the water shortages that Harare is current experiencing.
A modest single-story cottage is depicted with a light gray exterior. A well-maintained lawn surrounds the structure, which features multiple windows allowing natural light. A parked white vehicle is visible nearby, alongside a woodpile and an unoccupied area behind the cottage.
