The property was cozy and as described. We visited for New River Gorge, and while Montgomery was a 40 minute drive from the Park, it was across nice country roads with views of the river and several water falls. Jim was a very helpful host, and he was very responsive for anything we needed. He was friendly and gave us recommendations on places to eat and hikes to do in the area.

What an amazing piece of heaven! Brandon and his wife were so sweet and welcoming when we arrived. We had to get a ride up the hill which gave them time to tell us about the animals and how to operate everything. It is certain a camp like setting with gorgeous nature surrounding you. It was amazing to have the animals right there and to sleep with the open air door and sting lights all around! It rained at night but the sound on the tin roof was so relaxing! We built a fire, took walks, sat on the swing up in the trees and unplugged from technology! It was the perfect getaway if you are outdoorsy and like a unique experience. They are building a real beautiful getaway in close proximity to Charleston. If you need a night away to clear your head and to reconnect with a loved one then this is the perfect place! Highly recommend-5 stars!!

It was a terrific place to stay. They thought of everything you could possibly need. It was such a cute little place right on the river. Perfect for a weekend getaway with friends. I would definitely recommend staying here. It was one of the nicest Airbnb s I’ve stayed in. Very responsive and checked in to make sure we didn’t need anything . They went above and beyond. We would definitely stay here again.

This is the first “glamping” Airbnb I’ve stayed at. Let me start by saying: I couldn’t have asked for more. Everything was absolutely spotless and while it’s “camping”? (Sort of) I am genuinely surprised by how clean everything was. I’m not sure what I expected but it was at least 4-5 star hotel level clean, even outdoors on the deck and the bathroom/shower area… I wasn’t necessarily looking for that but it’s surprising enough to mention. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful retreat near New River Gorge then look no further.
A compact bathroom features a stand-up shower with a white curtain and a built-in shelf for toiletries. Light-colored walls and flooring create a bright atmosphere. A small sink with cabinetry is visible beside the shower, contributing to the efficient layout.

Great space for a quick trip! The space felt even bigger in person than the photos described, but do watch out for the sloped ceilings. The bed was extremely comfortable and the kitchen had everything you’d need to prepare food.
