Kelomökki Kuksa, a nature-loving wilderness cottage on the shores of the Tapojoki River. Running water, indoor toilet, electric heating, wood stove and Wi-Fi at your disposal. A short drive away from Ylläs ski slopes and other services. Fishing spots, berry picking areas and ski trails are all nearby. In the summer, you can take a dip in the river in the backyard, and there are long planks from the cottage to the beach. 200m away is Äkäsjoki, and a 15-minute drive away is one of Europe's best salmon rivers, Torniojoki. The cottage accommodates 6+2 guests. The cottage is located in the immediate vicinity of ski trails (500m), slopes (1.5km) and nature trails. From the large windows of the living room/kitchen facing the northern sky, you can admire the mountain landscape and, in the evenings, see the starry sky and the flames of the northern lights. 3 km to the store.

Villa Äkäsjoensuu

Atmospheric log cabin on the shore of Äkäsjoki. From the windows of the cottage, you can follow the flowing river, which is less than 20 meters away. You can go swimming after the sauna without worrying about the neighbors. This cottage accommodates 7 people at its best, but works best with less than six people. Downstairs you will find a hallway, a kitchen with a great fireplace, a sauna, a shower room, a toilet and a bedroom. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, both with views of nature.

Forest Ranger's House–Authentic Lappish atmosphere

House is located 5 km from the center of Äkäslompolo in the beautiful Lapland countryside and belongs to the Kuoppa´s farm. Here you can experience the authentic Lapland atmosphere. The house has an area of 127 square meter and can accommodate six people. It is best suited for 1-2 couples, a family, or a small group of friends. For an additional fee and advance booking, we offer breakfast at Cafe & Butik for €15/person and traditional reindeer roast from our own kitchen for €25/person.

The cabin provides comfortable accommodation spaces and a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare delicious meals after long days. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, one of which has separable beds. Upstairs there's a large bunk beds, WC and a fold-out futon sofa for an extra bed. The sauna is located in a separate outdoor building, accessed through a glazed terrace. An outdoor fireplace is also situated on the terrace, where you can enjoy even the chilliest of evenings.

Villa Usva is a terraced house end apartment (49+15 m²) in a central location, close to services and beautiful hiking trails. Here you will spend a wonderful holiday with family or friends. The downstairs open kitchen - living room creates atmosphere and togetherness. The spacious loft of the cottage has beds for two, and the downstairs bedroom comfortably sleeps two adults. Turn on the fireplace in the evening, heat the sauna and put your feet up. You've earned your vacation.

Lapissa Äkäslompolon kylän keskustassa sijaitseva saunallinen pieni vanhan porojen polun varrella oleva mökkimme on oiva kohde yhdelle tai kahdelle hengelle. Mökin saunassa saat nauttia perinteisen puulämmitteisen saunan löylyistä. Kaikki kylän palvelut ovat kävellen tavoitettavissa ja bussit lentokentälle tai juna-asemalle lähtevät parin sadan metrin päästä läheisen hotellin pihalta. Completed in the spring of 2024, the villa is located in a quiet location close to the services and activities of Äkäslompolo. Illuminated ski trails, a ski bus/bus stop and a beach in summer are within walking distance. Cycling and hiking can be accessed directly from the yard of the holiday villa. The villa is great for two families, multiple generations, or even a group of adults on an active holiday. The single-storey villa has 4 bedrooms and two separate toilets.
