The cabin can be enjoyed year-round, with many activities and excursions in the area: mountain hiking, fishing, swimming, canoeing, biking, rafting, golf, disc golf, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing (from the cabin!), tobogganing, etc. Langedrag Nature Park and Bjørneparken (Bear Park) are also worth a visit. Good chance of seeing the Northern Lights in winter, as it is dark around the cabin. The cabin has a fireplace, a large south-facing terrace, a fire pit, a toboggan, a lounge loft, and board games. Great hiking terrain all year round. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the 1st floor. Loft with two bedrooms and open solution down to the living room. Large kitchen with direct access to ski room/lubrication room. The cabin has an electric car charger.

A short distance to Snaufjellet, great hiking opportunities, fishing, swimming, and cross-country skiing, as well as mountain farm life at Håvardsrud and the cultural heritage of Rjukan, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Gaustablikk Skisenter is 50 km from the cabin. The cabin is well suited for families and guests who want tranquility, nature, views and great experiences all year round.

Experience real farm culture in an original halling house with charm. Here you can grind coffee beans in an old grinder and cook on a wood stove if you like. Refrigerator, freezer, and new bathroom are the latest additions. Hallingstugu is located on a farm in active operation with cows, sheep and garden hens. In the outdoor area there is plenty of room to ski and sled. Popular attractions nearby can be mentioned nesfjellet alpine, golf, nystølkroken cafe, langedrag nature park and endless cross-country ski trails. Everything within a few km by car.

Enjoy rural surroundings with forest and river. Welcome to Halvorhytta, a charming cabin in timber, about 90 years old. The cabin is located about 250 m from our farm where we have a small herd of Dexter cows. Dexter is one of the smallest cattle breeds in existence. Easy access from highway 7 (rv7), about 2 km. The cabin is located approx. 300 meters from our farm where we live. Proximity to the Bear Park in Flå and Langedrag, trail cycling, mountain tours and Skiing in Liemarka.

Cosy little cabin

The cabin is very small, but quite comfortable. (Around 10 kvm) The bathroom is separate. Rustic interior. Most suitable for couples and good friends. If you need more space, take a look at the other cabin on our farm, (Cottage anno 1711) Sauna can be rented. 300NOK / 30 Euro per use. If you arrive by train or bus, we can pick you up at the station. For this we will charge 150 NOK / 15 Euro per way.
