Good chance of seeing the Northern Lights in winter, as it is dark around the cabin. The cabin has a fireplace, a large south-facing terrace, a fire pit, a toboggan, a lounge loft, and board games. You get the feeling of being "alone in the whole world" despite 7 minutes to Fagernes town. Mindfulness. About 2.5 hours drive towards Valdres from Oslo. There is electricity and wood burning. There is one bedroom and a living room with a sofa bed, dining room and bathroom with shower. There is a bio toilet inside the bathroom. Must walk 40 meters from the parking space to the cabin. Water & mountain views. The main cabin is 95 m2 and contains entrance/hallway, kitchen with dining area, living room, TV room, 3 bedrooms, bathroom/wc, sauna, laundry room/toilet and storage room. Underfloor heating in the bathroom, laundry room and in the entrance. The annex is 35 m2 and contains one bedroom, living room with fireplace, hallway and bathroom.

Lower your heart rate at the top of Stolpehytta! Stolpehytta is located 5 minutes away from Blaafarveværket in Modum municipality, right next to the climbing park Høyt & Lavt Modum. Here you can find tranquility among the treetops. The large windows provide a panoramic view over the landscape and the night sky. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just enough space for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent e-bikes, stroll down to the climbing park or explore the local area.

In winter, a ski slope is made in and past the cabin – parking is then 1 km from the cabin.

An hour drive from the house you wil reach the nearest mountains to Oslo, Vikerfjell, a great place for hiking and biking.

The cabin is located about 250 m from our farm where we have a small herd of Dexter cows. Dexter is one of the smallest cattle breeds in existence. Easy access from highway 7 (rv7), about 2 km. The cabin is located approx. 300 meters from our farm where we live. Proximity to the Bear Park in Flå and Langedrag, trail cycling, mountain tours and Skiing in Liemarka.
