Magic Island: Cabin & Beach Sauna on Your Own Island

Welcome to experience of the unique Taikasaari, located in Väärinjärvi, Ruovesi! The island's cottage and beach sauna were built in the 1950s and renovated with modern amenities. The entire 2000 m² island is for your private use, without any visual contact with other cottages or houses. The cottage has electricity, but no running water. The wood sauna has carrying water and a water pot for heating the water. The sauna terrace has direct access to the lake. The toilet is an outdoor toilet. Please note that the property is not suitable for small children.

A renovated wooden house in a magnificent ridge landscape, where the atmosphere of the old house has been preserved without compromising comfort. Downstairs, there is a living room, kitchen, sauna, toilet, shower and laundry room, from which you can access the terrace with barbecues and table groups. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, both with beds for two. The backyard opens onto the terrain of the sports field with ski trails, disc golf courses, ice hockey rinks, soccer fields and outdoor exercise areas. The beach is a kilometer away.

You can enjoy the sounds of nature while staying on the large terraces of this unique home on the beach, where the sun shines all day from morning to night. The holiday apartment is located on the shore of a clear and drinkable clean Päijänne. You have access to all the amenities of our summer cottages, from air conditioning to a sauna. There is the option to heat a large hot tub on-site for an additional fee of €50. You can enjoy swimming, fishing, or otherwise just staying on the lake with a rowing boat, a canoe is also available.

Wake up to the birds singing, enjoy your morning coffee on the jetty and watch the mist rise from the water. Take a hiking or mountain bike trip in a nearby nature park or try your luck at fishing. Evening sauna, hot tub, fireplace and starry sky crown the day.

In the center there is a restaurant, a good K-store with postal services, an ATM and a pharmacy.

This log sauna cabin with modern facilities is located in the upper yard in your own peace. The nature of Muuratsalo and the lake Päijänne offer wonderful hiking opportunities all year round! Good transport connections. 2-4 km to Säynätsalo's services and Alvar Aalto's destinations, 0.3 km to the bus stop. Good game/playing opportunities in the school yard nearby. 2 Sup-boards, kayak, trampoline. The nearest swimming beach is 500m away, the kayaking/supboard access is 150m away.

Koskikara

A lovely cabin on the shore of Kalkkistenkoski. On the terace you can grill, eat, enjoy the evening sun, lounge on the deck chairs or see the local bird populations. The cabin also has a sauna, hot tub and an indoor fireplace. The cabins kitchen has the essentials for cooking and the barbeque and outdoor fireplace can also be used for cooking. The kitchen and sauna have warm water and drinking water will be delivered to the cabin. The cabin has an outdoor composting toilet.

The property has all the basic amenities in addition to a sauna, hot tub, large covered terrace, drying cabinet, wine cabinet, comprehensive dishes and a gas grill. Distance to Himos 10 km and distance to the lake 300 meters. The reservation includes linen, towels and the use of a hot tub at no extra charge.
