Magical views – a gem in the magical Bergslagen

Magical cabin dream on Lake Saxen – sauna, outdoor kitchen & sunsets. A newly built cottage (82 sqm) with separate guest cottage (30 sqm) and a huge deck of 380 sqm – in perfect west facing position for unforgettable sunsets over the lake. In total there are 13 beds. Fiber is available. Relaxation can be found in the wood-fired sauna with seating for 8 people. The outdoor kitchen is equipped with both charcoal and gas grill. Two kayaks with life jackets are available to borrow. An aluminum rowing boat and 2 sup can be rented – just let me know in advance!

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

Welcome to our cozy cabin! Nestled by the edge of a peaceful pool, you'll find a hot tub that comfortably accommodates up to five people, offering a stunning panoramic view of the lake. The jacuzzi and sauna is available year-round. The swimming pool is open until 6th of October, perfect for cooling off during warmer months. We also provide two paddleboards. Rikkenstorp - swedish countryside!

Come and stay at our small organic farm. You have your own nice house by the lake with access to a sauna. Take a walk in the forest or on the paths around the farm and say hi to the animals. This is an active small scale farm with a genuine feeling! Experience real countryside with nature, silence and a sky full of stars :-)
