Absolutely fantastic weekend away , The apartment was as described and contained everything we needed plus more. Great location conveniently 5 minutes walk from the Beach and 10 minutes into town - along a beautiful Seaview promenade. I would certainly recommend the putting green cafe for breakfast , its the closest and the full English was on point. Laura was great , on hand when needed and a mention of Ben and his tourist info 👍thank you

The Crows Nest is a perfect base for a getaway in the Norfolk Broads. The apartment is exactly like the pictures, super clean, modern and has everything you need for your stay. We would definitely recommend breakfast in The Galley below. We’ve visited Southwold many times normally in our motorhome. On this occasion we were with friends so decided to use an air B&B. We definitely made the right choice selecting “Port Side”.. with it having 2 double bedrooms both with en-suites. The accomodation was just as described….. spacious,comfortable and tasteful decor within a period property and with the added benefit of free parking. Would definitely use again…

This place is amazing. The apartment is cosy, the space is big and the bathroom and kitchen is beautiful. Perfect space and quiet. It’s private as well. It’s right opposite the sea. Right next to food places. About a 20 minutes drive to Great Yarmouth and 10 minutes to Africa Alive so was a perfect spot. There was lots of street parking directly outside the place. We absolutely loved our stay and Jane responded to our queries super quick. Would definitely be back and recommend to others.

What can I say that hasn’t already been said in previous reviews. Marian was a fabulous host and also Michelle, who oversees the running of Old Chapel House. We arrived to find the table in the kitchen all set out for dinner. Great fun was had in the evening playing croquet in the fabulous garden and then games around the kitchen table. Fresh flowers in each of the rooms was a lovely touch. Knowing one of my sons was home for our family wedding at Waxham Barn, Marian had arranged an Australian pineapple cake for us to enjoy, together with locally sourced marmalade and apple juice. It was also helpful to find plenty of items such as tea, coffee, condiments etc. My one request to my family was for a slice of sourdough bread, delivered on the Saturday morning, be left for me after having my hair and makeup done. Sadly, it had all been demolished! The house clearly was a previously well loved family home. We had a fantastic stay and will most definitely be returning.

This is a gorgeous cottage set in the middle of countryside (but easy to get out & about in the car). The kitchen is huge and with everything you need, with several options for outdoor dining to make the most of the lovely garden. Beds are comfy with decent sized rooms, but the standout attraction is of course the pool…heated so that we (with two young kids) could enjoy it for several hours each day of our stay without anyone getting bored or chilly. Lorna & Dean v friendly & helpful hosts. Highly recommend; only caveat - while we had a great weekend here with our toddler in tow, we were outdoors for most of the time; the cottage is decorated beautifully and has flagstone flooring throughout the downstairs which are not always compatible / relaxing with an energetic 2 year old.

We had a lovely weekend at Rachel’s place. It’s exactly what you would need for a weekend away by the coast. Rachel herself is super helpful, responsive and accommodating. The cottage is super well located, a 15 min walk into town, and perfectly located across the road from a shop with anything you might need. The cottage is well equipped and well set up if you have kids with an adjoining room to one of the main rooms with bunk beds. Overall, I will 100% stay again.

This property is an amazing, beautiful, spacious, spotlessly clean barn conversion set in a scenic, idyllic location, There are no shops but we purchased fresh eggs every morning from the nearby local farm and there are lots of lovely places to visit within a short drive. Caroline was very friendly and helpful and we loved the welcome basket of goodies. Thank you. Five of us plus baby Freya have enjoyed a wonderful family holiday and didn't want to leave!

Had a lovely two night stay Annetta greated us and showed us around was very lovely, The place was beautiful and quite and very clean and had everything you needed and the hot tub was a added luxury, loved waking up and walking outside and seeing the horses. My partner feel in love with Daisey the cat she likes to come and greet u also 😀 We would definitely come and stay again 😀
