Our vacation home was completed in the summer of 2025 and offers every comfort (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, underfloor heating, fireplace, open kitchen/dining area).

Immerse yourself in a world of the past. The Gänsetrappe is a 335-year-old individual monument in the old town of Ballenstedt. The house is detached on the approximately 1000 square meter property at the end of a dead end road. The originality has been preserved as much as possible and carefully combined with the contemporary requirements of a cozy vacation home. The minimalist decor with subtle colors, lots of natural light and warm wood accents creates a quiet atmosphere to unwind.

Hainrode is an idyllic village in the South Harz Biosphere Reserve and a paradise for hikers. The access road ends here, so there's no through traffic! Our camp is located at the end of the village, surrounded by old orchards with stunning views of meadows and forests. There are numerous hiking trails, as well as great opportunities for leisurely cycling or mountain biking to explore the countless trails.
