Monthly Rentals in Haiduan

The property is not easily accessible from Chishang. You have to take a taxi from there or (if you have an international motorcycle license) rent a scooter to get to the accommodation. At the property, I then got a bike from Min. From the property you can reach it on foot but also by bike/motorcycle/car rental. But the bike was really worth its weight in gold. Without the bike, it wouldn't have been so cool. The house is very quiet and really simply furnished. But it has everything you need. To be honest, I didn't really use the kitchen. If you want to cook a lot yourself, it might not be the right place to stay. But the best part of the place was the rental. The landlady is really great. Always available, very helpful, super friendly and warm. She has a lot of good advice and helps with all matters. Just great. Many thanks to Min!

Hsu has a beautiful traditional home with a classy Japanese architectural style. The beds are extremely comfortable and Hsu made the effort to help design our itinerary, prepare us local teas, and provide us with fresh fruits and juices from her garden. She is one of the loveliest hosts I have ever had, people like Hsu make Taiwan special! I strongly recommend this accommodation.

Our host was wonderful, greeted us on arrival, explained the details of the place. Positives: Terrific linens/blankets/pillows, don't worry, the tamami room is very comfortable, even my 85 year old father slept well! Very nice towels. It's near town center but close enough to train station to rent electric bikes (4+ seats), as well as car rentals. Around the corner is a nice breakfast place, went 3 times! Host was very responsive, answered questions each time! Nice hot/cold water dispenser, and shower is amazing, as hot as one needs with good water pressure. Items to note: Place is in town so expect regular local noises for a small town. Could use more storage areas, i.e., shelves and hooks. Description didn't show that tatami room and half bath is on 1st level, and a bed with full bath w/shower on 2nd level, with TV. No Wifi available. Tatami room serves as a living space as there is no kitchen or microwave. In sum, a very nice place, would stay again!
