Julianenhof is located in the middle of the fields of the East Frisian Marschlandschaft, remote from car traffic in an absolutely quiet location. Our farm is a children's paradise and is particularly suitable for families with children up to about 12 years old. On the farm there is a playground and sunbathing lawn as well as a barbecue and campfire place. Cat, dog, rabbits, and free-roaming dwarf chickens live on the Julianenhof - and there is a large garden as well as a fruit farm with old apple varieties.

In the harbor you have direct boat connections to the popular day trips, along the seal banks in the Wadden Sea National Park as well as to the islands, Juist and Norderney. The duplex apartment has a north / east-facing living room on the ground floor with a view of the driveway and the surrounding fields. Bedrooms, a shower room and an additional toilet are located upstairs, where grain used to be stored. Four large block-frame sliding windows, which correspond as much as possible to their historical model, let a lot of light (and also air) into the living room. A fireplace in the almost 175-year-old stove niche provides comfort.

Ihlowerfehn is an ideal location to explore all of East Frisia. Various coastal regions can be reached in about 45 minutes by car. In the immediate vicinity is a restaurant with beer garden as well as a beautiful playground.
