There is a wood-burning fireplace, an outdoor grill (you must bring your own lighter and charcoal), a refrigerator, and a gas stove/cooking area. There are plates, bowls, glasses, and cutlery. There are also frying pans and pots. There is no running water, so we fill water jugs with clean drinking water, which can be used for both cooking and washing dishes. The boathouse is very tastefully decorated, and is beautifully located right by the quay. Good communication makes it easy to get to/from Stavanger and attractions in the region. The boathouse has two jetties and a small boat, as well as great hiking, swimming and fishing opportunities. It is located southwest-facing which means many nice sunsets. We are in the process of developing a cozy and charming little place with brewery, cafe and shop. You can order fresh items for breakfast, lunch and dinner - everything served and sold is made here.

Welcome to Fjellro! Here you can get an overnight stay in the scenic area of Dirdal with an unforgettable view. With only a few meters to the fjord, an almost has the experience of sleeping in the water. All amenities are available either in the tiny house or in the basement of the shop Dirdalstraen Gardsutsalg nearby. In 2023 and 2025, the farm shop was named Norway's best farm shop and is a small attraction in itself. Right next door you will find a sauna that can be booked with equally good views.

The Cocoon

Hidden among the trees and overlooking the fjord, a hanging cocoon tent rises above the ground. It floats in the air, securely fastened to tree trunks. The tent is waterproof and features a spacious sleeping area that comfortably accommodates two people. Inside, there is dedicated storage space for your essentials. Guests have access to common bathrooms, as well as a grill and a badminton area. Additionally, guests can book a sauna and jacuzzi session or charge their electric vehicle.

Boathouse by the lake in Sokn, Stavanger

The boathouse is brand new and part of the seaside house environment towards Soknasundet. There is a jetty with fishing opportunities. Buildings and furniture are made by the renowned architect Espen Surnevik. If you come by boat there is plenty of room for the boat at the jetty. The boathouse is part of Sokn Gard (see fb) which has many animals you can visit, and the farm has 5 km of hiking trails.
