Here there are many hiking trails in the forest and if you have your own boat you can fish or take the sea route to Halden and on to the Hvalerøyene.

The small village is called Håbol and the cottage is a stone's throw from the picturesque wooden church from the 1700s. The yard is quiet and peaceful, even if ordinary yard chores are performed nearby.
