The lukewarm pool was prepared for us at the time of arrival, so I was able to enjoy the water with the kids right away. Especially on the second day, even though the wind was blowing and it was chilly, I was able to have a good time until late at night thanks to the warm water. Thanks to this thoughtful consideration, I enjoyed the water play without feeling cold at all. What the kids liked the most was the air bouncer! I jumped around in a wide space and laughed. Thanks to that, the kids and we had a really satisfying time. There was an e-mart 15 minutes away from the accommodation, so it was very convenient to shop. Thanks to that, I was able to easily purchase the necessary items, and in the evening, I was able to enjoy a delicious barbecue party with the Weber grill and charcoal prepared by the host. It was really sweet because I baked it with fresh ingredients! In addition, it was nice to be able to keep the drinks cool and drink them thanks to the bucket with ice packs. These small considerations made for a more comfortable and enjoyable stay. If I have a chance next time, this is the place I would definitely want to visit again. Thanks to that, the whole family made happy memories. I highly recommend it!

First of all, it is close to the ski resort, there is a convenience store 3 minutes away by car, and it is easy to deliver food. It's just like the other listing description. I'll be visiting again next year

It was quiet and so nice.

It's a great place with a good view, nestled in a quiet mountain. The check-in time was late, but the host kindly guided me on how to get there and helped me check in.

It was nice to get up early in the morning and take a walk around. You can also walk to Ssangsanjae. Clean accommodation, very kind, snacks provided, clean accommodation, and bedding Everything was good The kitchen was also fully equipped for use. You don't need to get out for breakfast or go to a cafe in the morning~ It was a shame that I only stayed for a day. I'll have to stay a little longer next time~^^

I wanted to rest comfortably in a quiet place with no people I booked it. I felt good about the response where I could feel the host's affection, and emptying my head in the warm Gudeljar I rested comfortably. I couldn't see the stars because the day was cloudy. Unfortunately, due to the snow that fell in the morning, I was able to fully enjoy the snowy scenery of Yeongwol. I'll keep it in my eyes.

I was grateful for the kind greetings and even sweet potatoes. It was nice that you were kind until the end. There are a lot of bugs, so bring insect repellent and mosquito incense. I sprayed the insect repellent, and not a single mosquito was caught. It was nice because it was quiet.

The owner was kind, and it was so nice to spend the day with a great view, a jacuzzi, a cypress bath, and a good speaker. Like other reviews, there were a few shortcomings, but I already knew about them, so I wasn't too uncomfortable. I had a really good healing.

All the spaces and amenities were filled with sincerity and warmth. I didn't know that breakfast would be prepared, but it was a healing time where I could forget all the fatigue, worries, and stress of the world and focus on myself because they prepared a healthy, warm, and hearty breakfast. Even though I am very scared of and hate bugs, it was a time to detox my mind to the point that even the bugs I met on the outdoor deck looked cute and new. I was so touched that you even took care of the fruit to feed the dog! It was nice that it was open enough to see the Milky Way with the naked eye, and the air was clear. I don't think I'll ever forget the stars I watched all night, the sound of birds and the fresh scenery I heard while having a cup of tea with breakfast in the morning. I had a really good stay! ^ ^

It was a good place to rest quietly, and the interior facilities were all clean and well organized.

I rented it for a family gathering, and the surrounding environment was quiet and the neighborhood environment was so nice. 👍 It was so nice to get immediate answers to my questions and communicate. I want to stay again next time. ☺️

i can’t say enough about this place ~ a true hidden gem, especially for those travelers looking for a more nature-filled, peaceful, traditional korean village experience. nestled halfway up one of the mountains in jirisan, katherine’s hanoak house and guest house is near a pristine mountain-fed stream and two Buddhist temples within walking distance. the beautiful villages of hwagae, gurye, and namwon are minutes away by car as well as many hiking trails, hot springs, sauna, and three of the best Buddhist temples (and one of the best buddhist hermitages) in the country. katherine is also an amazing, personable and knowledgeable host with plenty of ideas and suggestions of things to do or events and festivals to attend. a native english speaker and fluent in korean is an added bonus. her guest house is lovingly and artistically furnished and super cozy. looking forward to many future visits…

I had a really good time with the kind host, the lovely puppy Yoo, the warm pool, and the comfortable and evenly-cooking gas grill. There were two TVs with YouTube and Netflix, and even a karaoke machine, so there was no time to get bored. The kids are asking to come again. I'll see you again in the season when the valley water flows!

I've been resting comfortably in a small rural village. I don't think I'll forget the stories and the master carpenter's house that the kind owner gave me.

I rested comfortably with my parents. The owner was very kind and attentive, so I had a good stay.😊 It was small, but it wasn't uncomfortable because it had everything. There are many restaurants nearby, so I only remember eating well and playing well!! It's a great place to heal for a few days!!

It was a good time to have a light barbecue. I ate well until the end because you carefully prepared the charcoal. There were no mosquitoes yet... but I was a little nervous because there were bushes around. The owner is friendly and the coffee and sandwiches provided were very delicious I felt reassured It wasn't winter, so even if two people washed together with lukewarm hot water, it wasn't insufficient. It's just that the sink drainage was weak... it was a pity. I had a nice rest for a day.

The surroundings are relaxing and peaceful. There are also picture books that I like, cute handmade accessories, and a CD player that can open the morning pleasantly, especially on the second floor. It was nice to have a space where you can do something alone and see the scenery together. I had a good rest:)

Cute and cosy modern hanok, with everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. It is walking distance to Gyeongbokgung station making it very convenient to get to other places in Seoul too. There are also many cafes nearby for a quick caffeine fix!

It was really cozy and nice. I want to visit again with my family next time.

I've traveled with my dog several times through Airbnb, but this was the first time we went just the two of us. It was a trip that was a little exciting and a little worried, but thanks to Yeondu Room, I was able to spend a very warm and peaceful time. The cozy 'Yeondu Room' was decorated with a cute and warm atmosphere, so I was comfortable throughout my stay. Above all, I was really satisfied because there was a great course nearby for walking with my dog.🙂 However, there were a few disappointing points. There was no sink in the Yeondu room, so I had to go to the bathroom or outside to do the dishes. In particular, the bathroom was a little cramped, and it was a little inconvenient that there was no stand to dry after washing the dishes.🥹 Also, there are a lot of bugs because the surroundings are mountains, but there was no mosquito repellent or insecticide in the room, so I had to receive it separately after the request. I thought it would be better if a mosquito net was installed on the entrance door of the Yeondu room.🙃 It was a little disappointing that there was an additional fee for bringing a dog, and an additional fee for changing the check-in/check-out time.😂 Nevertheless, it was a special time to heal with my dog in nature. If you are planning a trip with your dog, this is a space we can recommend!

First of all, the most important thing was the cleanliness, which was very good. I wanted to have an unusual experience, and it was okay. The reason I rated it as okay is that Jungmi Mountain is a pretty important part of choosing this location, but it was a shame that it was forbidden to enter due to conservation work throughout 2025. It would be better to plan the flow of people if there was an advance notice.

Above all, the host welcomed and took care of us like we were his own grandchildren, so we were able to stay really comfortably. In the morning, they gave us strawberry juice and eggs, saying it was for the kids, so we ate so deliciously. ^^ There are a lot of things to do in the vinyl house, so my 5-year-old son had fun, and the house condition was clean, so I was completely satisfied! The room isn't spacious, but it wasn't insufficient for a family of three, and I think it'll be okay for a family of four. We didn't use it separately, but the barbecue zone and swimming zone were also neat and pretty. ~ It's a place I want to come back to. ^^ Thank you.
