Holiday home escape surrounded by horses

Set in a beautiful equestrian centre. Thoughtful touches throughout accommodation including reading lights, blankets, fully equipped kitchen. Excellent communication. The enclosed garden was perfect for letting our puppy off lead - completely safe. The lounge was spacious, plenty of sofa space and a dining table. Just 10 minutes drive into Llangollen. Highly recommend.

Shepherds Hut, Llangollen, North Wales

Well appointed accommodation in a quiet rural location. Only 15 mins walk to the Pontcysyllte Acquesuct and 8 mins drive to Llangollen. Russell is a friendly and welcoming host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, making the most of the BBQ and the lovely outdoor seating area. It's a great base for the outdoor activities , whether it be canoeing across the Aqueduct or walking to Castel Dinas Bran. We took in the Zip World at Penrhyn Quarry.

Stunning Stone Barn Conversion

AndyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay celebrating multiple milestone birthdays in our family. Everything was exactly as described and the property, scenary and amenities where exactly what we needed and expected. Would absolutely recommend time and time again. Cordula even swapped out our towels mid-week and kept the hot tub maintained daily. As a bonus our kids loved running the entire length of the property and the parents loved watched them get tired doing it!

Idyllic Shepherd’s hut

GeoffRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay in the Shepherd’s Hut. Tiff and Sean were wonderful hosts, very welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much for them. When we arrived, they spent lots of time showing us around the Hut and the grounds, including taking us down to the river and pointing out the ‘dipping spots’, that Sean had dug out himself. They have a large garden, that they both quite clearly spend many hours maintaining. The Hut itself was short of nothing, plenty of towels, crockery, glassware, as well as the simple bonuses, such as salt and pepper, washing up liquid, a tea towel and cooking oil for the air fryer! Sean even picked some strawberries from their garden and kindly gave them to us. They were delicious! The Hut and its contents were all so clean, that we felt like we were the first to even stay there! Having the sauna at the property, was definitely an added bonus. We wouldn’t hesitate at booking with Tiff and Sean again. Thank you both so much.

Popty Pennant

MonicaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed at Popty Pennant (the Bakehouse) in June. Nick informed us that parts of the settlement can be dated back to the Elizabethan era, and you can certainly see the history of the beautiful area over time. The tiny house is compact with most things you need for a short stay and comes highly recommended for an authentic North Wales experience.
