Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Gwangmyeong-si

Host was helpful with prompt responses, and gave clear instructions for the checkin. Love the portable TV as well! Wanted to use the lovely attic for reading but it was a little hot up there, would have been perfect if there is airconditioning in the attic too! Note that the bathroom is not directly connected to the room, but that seems to be how the old style houses generally are. It was a unique experience though, love that the hot tub was spacious and even had a skylight! Room was comfortable and cozy :)

This accommodation is one of the nicest I have stayed at. Such a beautiful traditional house with lots to do. I definitely would have loved to stay longer! Really recommend it!

We highly recommend Space Moda to anyone who is staying in Seoul for a few days, or a longer stay. Moda was an exceptional host - this was the best lodging we had during our entire 23 day trip to Japan and South Korea!! We will come back for sure the next time we return to Korea!!!

Ein niedliches voll ausgestattetes Apartment, in einer super Umgebung. Der Bahnhof ist auch nur ein paar Gehminuten entfernt, wodurch man eine direkte Verbindung zum Zentrum hat. Die Gastgeber waren ebenfalls super freundlich und entgegenkommend. Wir waren rundum zufrieden mit der Unterkunft und unserem Aufenthalt.

결혼식에 참석하기 위해 멀리서 온 가족들이 이틀 동안 묵었습니다. 전철역에서 도보 4분 거리에 있어 대중교통으로 접근이 용이한 숙소입니다. 또 집 앞에 자동차 2대를 편하게 주차할 수 있었어요. 전원마을에 위치해 있어 주변이 매우 조용하고 깨끗했습니다. 정원은 아기자기하게 꾸며져 있고 색색의 꽃이 아름다웠어요. 집은 거실과 주방, 2개의 화장실, 3개의 방이 넓고 사용하기 편리했습니다. 침구와 수건은 깨끗하게 세탁되어 있으며, 필요한 물건들이 찾기 쉬운 곳에 정리되어 있습니다. 식기는 세련되고 고급스러우며 작은 소품들과 식물, 꽃들이 감동을 주었습니다. 결혼식에 참석한 저녁, 집 근처 카페에 들러 차를 마시고, 주변을 산책하며 여유를 만끽할 수 있었어요. 가까이에 맛집과 카페, 편의점이 있어 편리했어요. 호스트의 정성과 배려가 곳곳에서 느껴지며 매우 쾌적하고 아름다운 최고의 숙소입니다.

It’s a really cozy and beautiful 2b apartment in a secured building. Room looks just like the pics and all accommodations included. It’s extremely clean and comfortable everywhere. I especially love the scent of the rooms and purified water provided which are kinda rare compared to other places. Location is fine too many restaurants and a traditional market nearby. Great experience! Highly recommend!

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in June 2025. If you are looking for a truly unique, peaceful but modern hanok experience in Seoul, you must come and stay here. Each and every furniture and amenity has been curated and carefully thought of. The local recommendations and little details provided were spot on. Our host Jee and her husband has made a space to come and and unwind any stress in a truly beautiful setting and in a neighbourhood away from the typical “tourist” areas of Seoul. This is genuine modern hanok experience - highly recommended for the discerning couple.

Great stay, short walk to many places to eat or get coffee. Very close to the subway and bus stop, so access to the rest of the city was easy from here.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The location is very strategic — just a short walk to Oryu-dong Station (Line 1), which connects directly to Seoul Station in about 30 minutes. We arrived from Incheon Airport using a combination of bus and train, and it was super easy to find the place. The house was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, although the blanket was a bit thin — but it was fine for us. The host was thoughtful enough to turn on the air conditioning before our arrival, which we really appreciated since the weather was quite hot that day. There’s also a stand fan provided. Just a small heads-up: the toilet and shower setup might be different from what some travelers are used to — but perhaps that’s just how Korean bathrooms are! Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient stay — definitely worth it.

I really enjoyed my time here, the flat was bigger than what I imagined it to be which was a pleasant surprise but it wasn’t too big either - the perfect size for one. Great location with numerous restaurants in the area, and access to multiple subway lines as well! The place was quaint and the small touch of setting up the radio to Seoul’s classical music station was really nice. We can’t wait to come back for another trip in the future!

The place is quiet and spacious compare to the other airbnb's in seoul. Definitely very worth the buck. It may be quite far from the central seoul but it is very accessible to subway line 4. Convenience stores and a lot of restaurants nearby.

Logement petit mais agréable. quartier très sympa et animé (nombreux restaurants et cafés, commerces et marché de quartier pas trop loin. la ligne de métro est très proche donc facile de se déplacer. L hôte est très serviable et réactif, très bon contact. J ai apprécié mon séjour. L aménagement de la terrasse serait un vrai plus.

Fun stay in an interesting neighbourhood! The place was extremely clean and very comfortable. The host was very friendly and answered all questions quickly. Things were generally as-expected and the experience was seamless and enjoyable. The floating bed was a unique touch and we enjoyed it, but those who are especially tall or have limited mobility might find it a challenge to get in and out of.

Very easy to find and clear instructions from the host. It's very near a busstop for a direct bus to the airport as well which I found very convenient. The room itself has all basic amenities and is spacious and very clean. Just note that the mattress is quite hard if you're sensitive to that. It wasn't a problem for me and I would definitely like to come back sometime.

很愉快的一次入住体验，离弘大很近，我觉得弘大是最好逛的一片，而且民宿离地铁站公交站都很近，所以住这边非常的方便。民宿很温馨，很有家的感觉，房间里应有尽有，跟普通的民宿不一样，有厨具，洗衣机，烘干机，洗衣液，甚至还有卷发棒，对女生超级友好，而且周围环境也非常好，很安静，晚上睡觉根本不用担心会吵。房东人也巨好，有求必应的那种。走的时候非常不舍得，下次来一定还住这里。

Great space. Just enough for one person. I think two people would feel cramped. The space is smaller than in the pictures. I like how she decorated the place. It added more warmth to the room. I enjoyed chilling with the warm lighting and under the covers at night. It felt cosy and like home. Host is kind and allowed an early check in, with specific instructions on how to get to her place. She also recommended me places to visit nearby and responded quickly whenever I asked her questions. I’m a solo female traveler so I felt safe because there’s two passcodes to enter the building, unlock the door and a small lift. Cons: There is a steep slope you have to climb before reaching the Airbnb. So pushing luggage up & down is a hassle. The toilet is also really small. It takes about an hour if you want to go to myeongdong/gangnam/dongdaemun. But the airbnb is closer to the airport and highly accessible via bus/train. Overall, great deal for the price! You get what you pay for!
