Our Heidi House is located in the middle of the Black Forest, in a small valley surrounded by green meadows. Next to the Heidi house is the farm we live on. The Heidi house is detached and has a separate entrance, so your privacy is guaranteed. The farm is located at the end of a road, with no traffic passing through, and is surrounded by meadows, fruit trees and forest. Our own stream and a small pond with a bench on the property invite you to relax.

Modern Apartment

A modern furnished, newly renovated in 2022 studio apartment (no separate bedroom) with 40 square meters of living space awaits you. The apartment is located in a single-family house in the basement. It is located in a quiet residential area in the immediate vicinity of the forest in a perfect starting point for activities such as cycling and hiking. The center of Furtwangen and shopping are within walking distance in 20 minutes. (car 3 min).

It is the perfect base for exploring and experiencing the Southern Black Forest Nature Park with its variety of attractions. Discover many small details and refinements in the completely self-designed and restored premises. Feel completely at ease - surrounded by natural materials and lush nature. Listen to the birdsong and bees buzzing, the gurgling of the stream, the distant bleating of the sheep or the calling of the cows.

Artist loft in the middle of the forest

I'm afraid there's not a single right angle in the apartment. This is not uncommon in an almost 200-year-old Black Forest farm. I did most of the work on the apartment myself. Since I am not a specialist, you can certainly see this in many places, but the apartment may have its own charm for this very reason. I feel very comfortable in it. Because I live there myself during the winter months.

Modern living in Black Forest

Modern apartment on a dairy farm. The apartment is in a separate building on our secluded farm ensemble. Spacious terrace and free view to the valley invites you to relax. You don't hear any street or cars and yet relativeley close to train station or shopping (5km). You can reach restaurants by foot (15 min). Ideal starting point for hiking tours, city trips or just relaxing.
