Chalet vacation rentals in Gunnison County

We very much enjoyed our stay at Juliana and Mario's ski chalet. They were very warm and friendly and were especially accommodating when my daughter fell ill. I also appreciated the nice work bench for tuning my skis! Great value overall. We hope to stay with them again someday.

Paul was super responsive and called to make sure we got in okay and everything was as it should be. The house was private, had amazing views and great space.

Great spot! Room was good, easy access to the house, tidy, plenty of space to park. Great views from the second floor. My GPS routed me one house down for some reason so beware in case that happens to you. Something kinda random/memorable that happened on my last day, a stray hummingbird flew into the house. I didn’t even know there were hummingbirds in this area. Kinda neat, we spent a good 5-10 mins trying to guide it back out. It’s a great neighborhood and Snowmass/Aspen are pretty well-maintained towns, you can almost forget sometimes how nature is right there! If/when I come back to Aspen I’ll definitely want to book here again.

What a special home! Such a beautifully designed, appointed, and finished home. Everything is so nice and solid. The view is amazing. Rex & Kathleen are wonderful hosts. It made for such a special trip to Created Butte and honestly it was such a great spot that we spent more time just hanging at the house enjoying it than we had planned :) Would recommend to anyone looking for a very nice and comfortable place to stay while in CB. Thank you so much for sharing it with us!

I couldn’t have asked for a more stunning home to get ready in on my wedding day. The house was absolutely perfect—spacious, beautifully decorated, and full of natural light, making it ideal for pre-wedding photos. The views were simply breathtaking, adding a magical backdrop to our special day. Steve and Larry were exceptional hosts—so friendly, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. They truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for us. I wholeheartedly recommend this home to anyone planning a wedding or special event—it made my day unforgettable. A great place in a beautiful location!

Loved our stay! Prime location with epic views of Snowmass. Usually, a place that's this nice and close to Aspen is way out of budget, but due to the shared housing setup it was super affordable and we were thrilled about the house. Still plenty of privacy and not too many people around - and the host was a pleasure to chat with! Definitely plan on staying here again in the future. Cheers!

The Skiball Chalet is excellent spot for a ski trip to Snowmass. I visited with a group of 9 guys and it was ideal for what we needed. Convenient shuttles to mountains and awesome amenities. Great unit, easy access at check in and location, and responsive host. I will be back here again!

Fun, eclectic and cozy home tucked away yet somehow right in the middle of things. Perfect location for walking to town yet with the right about of privacy. The house itself was really great for a family with multiple areas both inside and out for hanging, playing and relaxing. Great home in a great spot.

If you are looking for a beautiful view, look no further! The pictures don’t do it justice. The kitchen had everything you would possibly need. Comfortable furniture and beds are a plus. We had everything we needed for relaxing stay. We were taking this trip to celebrate retirement, and we were very happy with our stay. It’s worth every penny! Kirk was easy to communicate with. We would definitely go back!!
