The view is incredible beautiful and the house is very cozy

Definitely recommend this A-frame for a little getaway! The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful - exactly what we needed to disconnect and relax for the weekend. We spent most of our time just soaking in the views, but also loved that it was close enough to Breckenridge to spend our final day exploring the town. A great balance of seclusion and convenience!

We had a wonderful time in Brekenridege. Fritz's place was gorgeous. From the fireplace (and supplied wood) to the fire pit by the stream, the hot tub, the toiletries, the beautiful glasswear, pots and pans, it has anything you would ever need. It was as if it was my own house, fully stocked with every necessity. Thank you!!! It was fun seeing Momma Fox come up the stairs and cross the stream hunting for her little kits. Thank you for a beautiful stay!!

This is an amazing, well-stocked home with plenty of “extra” touches. We had flowers, wine, and chocolate to greet us as we walked in. The manager, Garrett, built a camp fire for us one night and offered to do it again the next night. Communication was excellent!! I would receive a response back from the host within minutes. The property was filled with beautiful plants and flowers and the river ran just feet from the fire pit. It was very close to town, also. Nothing was overlooked!! They even had a food bowl and water dish for our dogs. The atmosphere was perfect for relaxing. The jacuzzi hot tub was so nice after a long day of trout fishing. We will be back if ever in Glenwood Springs again! Thank you Richie and Garrett.

We were staying in Salida for a wedding and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The views were beautiful. The property was clean and had everything we would need. Highly recommend.

Anna was an amazing host. The home was exactly what we were looking for and more. The property is a hidden gem in the mountains, with no real need to leave because it came with all of the amenities needed for a relaxing weekend. The views were immaculate and there were plenty of stars to gaze at after the sun went down. Anna was communicative before and during our stay and provided us with everything we needed to make us feel right at home. We’d recommend her to any guest looking for a peaceful weekend away.

If you want to immerse yourself in nature and get a break from busy life. This is it. Any more immersion in nature and you will risking living with wild animals. Couple of foxes did show up. We even saw a moose in Fairplay (town 15 mins south). Very nice cabin-like home with central heat and everything you might need. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful cabin. Peaceful with beautiful views the hot tub was awesome at night and in the morning. Our dogs absolutely loved it there and I can’t wait to come back.

We stayed for two nights and enjoyed ourselves immensely. We wanted privacy and quiet and that’s just what we got! We would book again.

Where do we begin....it was beautiful, memorable, amazing!!! What a gorgeous, quiet setting tucked away. Being from the southeast, we were enamored by the scenery and location. We enjoyed even simple walks and exploration around the house to look at all the pretty rocks, cacti, trees, and mountain views and wildlife (bunnies, deer). The house was clean and very homey with a fully stocked and supplied kitchen, accessible laundry room, board games, and extra towels and sheets. Crestone is a little far from major grocery and cities so we planned ahead on our way. We also stopped by the little town grocery and shops and found it a little expensive but accommodating for little here-and-theres we needed. The host gave great recommendations for the area. We highly recommend visiting the dunes and hot springs!! Host was very friendly and responsive. We would recommend this stay to anyone traveling this way. Absolutely a wonderful experience!!!

Serene location bordering the beautiful Willow Creek and the greenbelt - a highly recommended jaunt straight out the backyard. Everything was as described. Bed was cozy. Felt private even with neighbors nearby. The hot water runs out quickly so plan accordingly! Ana provided clear instructions and was very responsive.

Loved our off grid stay! Such a peaceful stop along our roadtrip. The cabin was beautiful, we loved the old stove and fireplace! Very welcoming place to stay.

Such a beautiful place to relax! Sunset over looking the Gunnison River are unmatched. We will be back!

We had plans to hike the Grand Mesa, walk the lakes, unfortunately I caught the worst cough know to mankind. But having a place to cuddle in front fireplace was magical. We’ll try it again soon. Maybe in the summer time next time.

It was an amazing stay

We had such a great time at the enchanted Cabin! Kayla was super helpful and responsive from the time we booked all these way through us leaving. The cabin is exactly as described and we loved the location - we were able to drive in to get coffee and breakfast in the morning and then enjoy the sand dunes and hot springs in the afternoon. There is a good bit of driving involved to get to all these places, but that was clear when I made the booking. We enjoyed the hot tub and cozy home and my dog felt just as welcomed as we did! Would absolutely stay again.

The quintessential cabin experience! Perfectly cozy, very well equipped, and clean. There was still some snow on the ground so it felt like we had the whole world to ourselves. Can’t wait to stay again!

My husband and I absolutely adored staying here!! The views were just breathtaking. The yurt was so fun to stay in. There were so many great amenities - the hot tub, the grill, the fire pit. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the wood burning stove. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook up a nice meal and we loved getting to eat on the patio while enjoying the view. We briefly met the host and he was so kind and helpful! I would give this spot 10 starts if I could. Everything was perfect!

We had a wonderful 10 day stay in the cabin. The craftsmanship of this log cabin is something to admire, the place is beautiful and functional. We were working on a big project with family in the area, which was some hard labor. It was so nice to be able to come back to the cabin and truly relax. It is peaceful, homey, and had everything we needed, including wifi, warm showers, comfortable chairs and couch. We even got some fresh chicken eggs which made a delicious breakfast! All in all, it was a high quality stay and we'd love to do it again. Also, the goats are adorable.

This cabin is wonderful!!! It was cozy and clean. Everything you need is provided. I look forward to renting here again if we are in the area.

This stay was majestic. Had the bed outside anytime I could (thunderstorms prevented it but made for fun afternoons!). The view of the mountains (and Great Sand Dunes National Park) is stunning. Directions to get to the house James sent were helpful and was easy to find. They greeted me when I arrived to give instructions since their property is unique. Heads up the shower is in their warehouse and you do have to walk up the hill and through the warehouse to get to it (but it's private and lovely once you get in the shower room itself). The hot tub cured all of my aches and has the best view I think - you do need to give advance notice so they can heat it up. They also have a couple dogs who will come say hi and some donkies. The space has everything you need: mini kitchen (no microwave/toaster but yes burners), composting toilet, speaker, books, mini fridge, places to sit in and out, extra blankets, lots of airflow. Loved all the special touches and would stay again in a heartbeat!

The cabin was very comfortable and attractive. The description was accurate. Sitting by the river in very peaceful.

We had a wonderful winter time stay. The cabin was incredibly well stocked which made the snow-machine access only so easy and less stressful. very comfy and cozy. I don't have a single recommendation on how it could be improved. hope to have the opportunity to stay again!

John and his ranch were both absolutely perfect. So impressed - house was clean and well equipped with towels, firewood, pantry supplies, and anything we could ever need. Not to mention the best stars we’ve ever seen from the hot tub!!!You can tell John really pays attention to the details that make a trip special and make people feel at home. The property is absolutely stunning and we couldn’t have had a better time. Thank you John!
