Morgan’s place is great with picture perfect lake and sunset views. The hosts are very respectful and responsive. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a nice getaway in the area.

Wonderful place! Has definitely been added to our “return to” list for when we visit the area. The only ask would be for a thick mattress topper on the king bed since it’s a bit on the firm side for us old folks. Also maybe a few more chairs on the upper deck of the dock to enjoy that spectacular sunset. Other than that, it’s perfect!! The porch was so serene. Watching the sunset with a glass of wine was the perfect ending to our evenings there. Thank you again Suzy, you were fabulous! We will be back again and again!

We made such wonderful memories at this beautiful lake house! It was the perfect spot for our group of four families — it was comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. Karleen was an amazing host! She made sure we were well taken care of, left out some thoughtful goodies, and ensured everything was perfectly set up for our stay. We truly appreciated her warm hospitality. Thank you for helping us create such special memories!

Fantastic stay at Sunset Shores with my family! We grew up on Lake Athens and knew the area well. This is such a beautiful lot and the home (and dock!!) have been spectacularly renovated. Plus, the hosts clearly use the space because it has everything you could possibly need. I always favor lived in AirBnBs for exactly that reason. We will be back. Thank you, Shane!

We had a wonderful stay at this lakehouse! The place was very clean and well-stocked—it had everything we needed, including extra toiletries and a fully equipped kitchen, which made it easy to cook dinner every night. We also really appreciated that it’s dog-friendly—our lab was in heaven! This airbnb was on the pricier side, but the access to the lake and the views were fantastic—absolutely worth it for the location. The host was very responsive and helpful. We did have a minor issue with the ramp leading to the lake, but she quickly had someone come out to address and fix it, which we really appreciated. Overall, a great stay with beautiful surroundings, thoughtful amenities, and attentive hosting.

Love the home. Its location was quiet and peaceful. It's a nice little getaway home! There was plenty of space too, I thought the home was going to be smaller but it was bigger than I thought!

Fast communication. Owners very helpful to make our stay perfect. The two king bedrooms had tvs in them and en suite bathrooms. There was one queen bedroom with a tv and another queen bedroom no tv. There was a bunk bed room with no tv. All bedrooms were super comfortable with soft plush mattresses. If you have a senior, make sure to have a way to help them in and out of the bed. Hard to get out of for elderly since they are so soft, so we put a heavy chair by the bedside. We fished off the dock provided and it had a wonderful picnic table on it. We caught catfish and drum and perch with hot dogs and worms. Bring sunblock and bug spray for outside. There are beach towels in the laundry room to use. The towels for the bathrooms are so soft and nice. Very clean. Very comfortable. Lots of hot water in the showers. Never ran out. Hot tub was great.Bring condiments. Recommend Vernon's to eat at for dinner. Would love to come back!

The home was for my son and his groomsmen, and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Brian was extremely communicative and friendly and easy to work with. I totally recommend this home!

This place was great. Clean and tidy. Beautiful surroundings. Horse and goats roaming around the fields. Was peaceful. Definitely will be staying here again.

Great tiny home right by the community pool and boat dock. It has a pier for boats. The house was perfect! The screened in porch was a big bonus for being in the sun all day.

I stayed at Angel's place for over 2 months. I was working out of town. Angel's ace had everything i needed to be comfortable. It was quiet and peaceful place to come to after working. The on site laundry facilities were a great bonus to my stay. I would definitely recommend Angel's place to for business or pleasure 👍

This is the second time we rent this house. This is the perfect summer getaway for a weekend with friends and family! We appreciated the numerous amenities, including the large firepit, the ponds and the boats available for use. Thank you to the host for having us.

What a beautiful Air bnb! We stayed one night during a cross country road strip and wished we had time for a second night. The pool and hot tub area was beautiful and there were so many toys and activities for kids. Inside the house was just wonderful…we felt so at home and there were so many lovely touches. We have stayed in a lot of air bnbs and this one really was one of the best. It had every kitchen utensil or kitchen equipment you could dream of, with drawers and cupboards clearly labeled making it easy to find things in new surroundings. Very comfortable beds and sofas. The surrounding area was pretty farmland and not too far from the highway and maybe 40mins outside of Dallas so perfect for us. I’m not sure if there was much around in terms of restaurants but with such a beautiful house we really didn’t want to leave. It was the perfect place to recharge our weary travelling souls and get back on the road…highly highly recommend!

Jeff & Leslie have a beautiful little cabin surrounded by true beauty and peace. I enjoyed yoga on the dock listening to the sounds of birds chirping and water flowing. The kids loved the bonfire, and the little visitors we had. (Bunnies, birds, squirrels) overall, loved the location, the place had everything I needed. Not once did I need something they did not have. I cooked several meals and we had a nice time unwinding and relaxing away from the big city. Would definitely return.

The wife and pups really enjoyed our stay on the property feels so peaceful and relaxing, with plenty to do if you are outdoors type. Fishing and nature is abundant! Feels like you are off the grid , but town is only 15 minutes away for anything you will need.The cabin is built right into the property with a dock right outside the door and a boat as well.Really recommend checking this out if you like what you see.

Very nice home on water! We enjoyed swimming off the pier. Nice grill and kitchen. Very comfortable bedrooms and ample bathrooms. We had a great family reunion staying there.

Our stay was perfect. The house was as described and peaceful and extremely well stocked. Kids had a great time fishing, doing puzzles, kayaking and swimming in the lake. The scenery is beautiful and peaceful and there was space for everyone. We had 8 with us and couldn’t have been more pleased with the property and Kara’s communication. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Green House! Amenities were ample and so much fun as we celebrated our teens sons’s birthday on the lake. Three boys were never without something to keep them off screens. College aged girls felt right at home. Plenty of amenities in kitchen and throughout the home to help out as needed. Only negatives were the neighborhood coming in at night was a little run down/potholes. But she fairly described this. The Green House is also an older home, that could use a few updates, but very charming and the spot on the lake was Amazing with great neighbors! We felt very comfortable and right at home! I enjoyed my coffee in the yard with the view of the lake each morning, and watched the sunset with a cool breeze in the evening, and it’s June in Texas!!!

The Airbnb was a beautiful place to stay. My family and I had a great time. My wife and grandaughters enjoyed it so much. They didn't want to leave the place. Thank you Jeff for your customer services. This is the wife version. We obtained the Airbnb, so we could attend the Southwestern Region three day Campmeeting. We only visited the Campmeeting once because the Airbnb was so comfortable and really cozy none of us wanted to leave to go any place else. As a result, we decided to make it our vacation spot for the duration of our trip. We recommend this place for anyone who just need a quiet get away. The children version. It was so quaint and comfortable. The outside view was amazing! 😻🤩 It was such a quiet and beautiful place. We did not want to leave. We asked our grandpa could we move to Athens and live in the Airbnb, but they told us no, it was not for rent!😭 😞. We can't wait to go back again. 🙏 Thanks again for letting us stay there!👍
