Family-friendly vacation rentals in Guatemala City

Everything was excellent

This is a great place for remote workers looking for a peaceful, serene retreat with multiple areas to work from (love the hammocks_ and great Wifi. My husband and I worked remotely here for a week and had an incredible time! The views from the deck are beautiful, and sunsets are gorgeous. I was so appreciate about how flexible and accommodating the staff was, they held our bags for us after checkout and offered a place for us to work from as we awaited to be picked up for the airport. They offer ordered lunches, massage services, chef services, and literally anything you could want. Note, there is no air conditioning but plenty of fans.

El Solar is incredibly gorgeous. It’s an absolute gem in Antigua at an unmissable price. We slept 6 (4 adults and 2 kids) comfortably. The location can’t be beat with popular restaurants on all sides, access to boutique shopping, and walking distance to the main square. The only thing of note is that the loft room gets super hot, but it’s typical of the area. We were provided with extra fans. 10/10 would stay here again.

This place was great, 3 nice large bedrooms, all with their own nice bathrooms, and a cool lil 1/2 bath next to kitchen. Kitchen is VERY well equipped, and the immediate area has LOTS of dining options, and easily walkable to all of Antigua. Hostess was also very flexible with us. Would definitely stay again if available.

I had a wonderful stay at Alotetango House. The service was excellent—staff were attentive and made sure everything was perfect throughout my visit. The facilities were top-notch, and I especially appreciated the stunning view and the beautiful pool, which made for a truly relaxing experience. Highly recommend!

The house is spectacular, with wonderful views, Héctor and Gladys were super helpful and helpful at all times! Maria was always super communicative and the house was relentless at all times during our stay with all the amenities and amenities for me and my family. The place is a 100/10

Paula’s place was the perfect home base for our stay in Antigua—organized, cozy, and exactly as described. Communication with her team was outstanding: clear, helpful, and impressively prompt. Overall, we had an extremely pleasant experience and would strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting Antigua.

I booked this property for my birthday and it was everything I could imagine and more. Ana and Edgar made me feel so welcomed. They insured I enjoyed every bit of my trip and I am beyond grateful for their hospitality. The property was so beautiful and clean. The room was very spacious. Great stay! Great hosts

Karla's place was beautiful and really captured Antigua's charm. It was close enough to the center of Antigua yet quiet and private, so you can rest well. Karla was one of the best hosts I have ever had! Unfortunately, while in Guatemala, I was bit by a stray dog and had a really difficult time finding somewhere to get a rabies vaccine. Karla was a huge help to me by calling several places to try and find the vaccine for me. She definitely went above and beyond her responsibilities as a host! Would definitely recommend her place to stay at. It was one of our most favorite Airbnb's of our entire trip.

Loved the house -- yes, you get an entire house with a two-windowed office and big professional glass desk, an upstairs with two bedrooms, a spiral staircase, and views to both volcánes de agua and fuego. Lots of interesting books about art and some on history await you. You enter the property via the lockable big garage style doors common to Guatemala homesteads. Interior from those doors, the plot of land is shared with another house of the hostess, not Emiliano. They weren't there originally but arrived a couple days into my stay along with their playful German shepherd. The coffeemaker stopped working and they replaced it within hours. Very comfortable stay in a beautifull gated community. If you head out of the community, bring your ID and the address of the place to get back in.

This Airbnb was a great find for the price. It was a little bit of a walk to some more active parts of the city, like other reviews said. However, that was nice for us because the noise levels were lower at night when we were trying to sleep. The hosts were very responsive and helpful in our check-in and checkout process, and they were accommodating when we wanted to leave our luggage at the Airbnb after our checkout time. The Airbnb had everything that we needed for the few days that we stayed in Antigua. We would definitely recommend staying here while you visit Antigua.

The MOST BEAUTIFUL space, it’s truly one of the most remarkably designed spaces you could stay at. All the modern amenities, and the feeling of a lush villa right in Antigua. Easy to get to all shoppes, cafes and restaurants. Jack, the dog that lives on the property took us for walks around the neighborhood every single day! He was the highlight of our trip. Plenty of space for 4 people but it was just the 2 of us. Looks exactly like the photos. Having a washer and dryer was a super plus. And cleaning service available daily.

It was the best possible choice! Carlos is super attentive and kind! We will return annually and stay there. We fell in love with the site!

Had a great time at Ana Maria's place. It was perfect for a family of 4, enough room for everyone to relax. The place is super clean and welcoming. We were a short walk away from the center of Antigua. The pool was a plus, my kids really enjoyed swimming there on a day we decided to just stay in and relax. We felt safe and definitely recommend this place for anyone traveling with kids.

Stayed here with my family which was a total of 5 of us and we had plenty of space with a bed to spare. It was within a private community which was beautiful with a view of the volcano right outside the door and we liked the extra security. The washer and dryer was also an added bonus but bring detergent with you to use. Within 15min walking distance to the arch and other ruins. Lots of places to eat along the way as well. Great space for the money.

Great space good value

Romeo and Wendy are extraordinary hosts! Would give them 10 stars if I could! We were able to meet them in person and they are lovely, warm people. The apartment is beautifully decorated with bright guatamalen style colors and beautiful artwork. The kitchen is well equipped, bed very comfortable, and plenty of hot water for showers. There is a private balcony off the bedroom that is great to enjoy the morning sun and the cool evenings. Orotava villas, beautiful grounds and wonderful staff. Nice heated pool. Many nooks to relax and enjoy the quiet, calm atmosphere. It is a very secure, safe property with a security gate and guard. The location is superb… walk to edge town is only 10 and to parc central about 20 minutes. There is a complimentary shuttle you prefer. Antiqua a wonderful city full of charm and warm people. If you visit Antiqua Romeo and Wendy villa is the place to stay!

Julie‘s place is an excellent location to explore Antigua. We stayed for several weeks and it had everything we could want. We had a little mishap, but Julie‘s team was quick to respond and made sure we were well taken care of. Excellent communication and wonderful hospitality. I highly encourage staying here if you are looking for a comfortable place that is spacious and has all the amenities.

Nice and quiet place, it has all the comforts, again I felt at home.
