Modern retreat in natural Mangualde splendor

GonçaloRating, 5 stars10 months ago
The site SevenFarm was spectacular. The people who served us were excellent, with a service and top food. The surrounding town is very quiet, perfect for an escape. I have no complaint about the stay itself. However, GuestReady is very poor application, with poor communication, only Bots answered, and told us wrong information to us and the hosts. Be very careful with this company! We advise you to contact SevenFarm directly, they are impeccable.
The image showcases a hillside covered in lush green vineyards, with the Quinta do Valdalágea estate positioned prominently at the top. The estate's white facade contrasts beautifully against the verdant backdrop, framed by a clear blue sky.

the property was carefully renovated with a lot of love. The furnishings are up to a high standard with historical objects. The paths along the vineyards relaxing. A wonderful view and comfortable garden furniture. The kindness of the staff surprised us. A house with history and good wine.

Mangualde Double Stay

RebeccaRating, 5 stars34 months ago
A brand new bed and breakfast in the countryside, very cute and clean! We (a couple) stayed here for one night on our way to Porto on our mini road-trip from Lisbon. As we booked last minute for a Saturday night in mid-August (peak of high season), there weren’t too many accommodation options left within our price range so we took a chance on this brand new listing on Airbnb. Not disappointed! One important thing to note is that the location is not what is written on Airbnb - do contact them in advance to confirm the actual location. We drove to the wrong place and were redirected by the host via WhatsApp. The actual place was twenty minutes away so it wasn’t too bad but we were surprised! The host Adozinda was very sweet but does not speak English, which would have been fine in this day and age of Google Translate, but we quickly discovered that she spoke enough German to communicate all the necessary information to my German boyfriend. The breakfast was simple - make sure to ask for the real coffee as they do have an espresso machine in the kitchen. We initially made do with the instant stuff but as we were sitting in the dining room, could clearly hear the sound of the coffee machine running. Much better!
Two elevator doors are situated side by side in a well-lit corridor. The walls are painted in a soft white, and the flooring is smooth and neutral-toned. A welcoming plant adorns a nearby shelf, adding a touch of freshness to the space.

Residencial Douro Double Room with Balcony 4

Good value and close to a supermarket! It is necessary to walk to reach the center and restaurants but it remains easily accessible (30 minutes walk to the train station) and as a bonus with a walk close to the Douro
A broad view showcases lush, terraced vineyards stretching across rolling hills. The landscape is bordered by a reflective river, surrounded by mountains under a partially cloudy sky, highlighting the agricultural beauty of the Douro Valley.

Quinta do Valdalágea, deluxe Ensuite Francesa

That's what we were looking for ! A stay in the country, in a century-old house as if it were our family home. The rural reality of our wonderful Portugal! These kind of “enriching” experiences don't compare to a hotel at all! We have to have "open mind" and know how to value the beauty of going back to its origins ! It has a fabulous view over the Régua and Douro river!
A scenic riverside pathway runs alongside the water, featuring a mix of paved and cobblestone surfaces. Wooden docks extend into the river, while gentle green hills rise in the background, dotted with buildings and trees. A pathway is visible, inviting leisurely strolls.

Seven Farms Double Stay

Thomas BekkerRating, 5 stars22 months ago
The host was super accommodating. We were shown around the “farm” and tasted the fruits that were grown on the property. In addition, everything was neat and clean and refurbished. The pool was also super nice. A little gem👏
A sprawling vineyard landscape is framed by lush greenery, showcasing terraced rows of grapevines. Atop the hill, a white building can be seen nestled among trees, indicating a serene atmosphere in a picturesque setting.

Can not recommend this place enough. Absolutely stunning property in the heart of the Douro Valley with easy access to all the activities of the Valley and such fantastic hospitality. Estate made wine, Port, honey, and marmalade were an exquisite bonus.
