Wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit großem Garten in direkter Wasserlage am Kanal mit traumhaften Blick in die ostfriesische Landschaft. Das Haus wurde umfassend saniert und renoviert. Wichtig war uns dabei, den ursprünglichen Charakter beizubehalten und diesen mit heutigem Wohnkomfort zu verbinden. Regionalität, Nachhaltigkeit und Individualität waren unser Kompass. Am Rande des historischen Dorfkerns in ruhiger Lage, nur einen Katzensprung zum Deich, zum Hafen und zur Fähre nach Ditzum.

Meine Unterkunft ist gut für Paare, Alleinreisende, Abenteurer und Geschäftsreisende. Dein Elektrofahrzeug kann an der Wallbox (gegen Gebühr) aufgeladen werden.

A vacation for the soul on an East Frisian farm

We live on a farm in a quiet secluded location in the middle of East Frisia with our cattle, horses, chickens, dogs and cats. Shopping and restaurants are 2 km away. And plenty of bike paths to worthwhile destinations - swimming lakes, open-air museums, climbing park.... We'll be happy to give you tips. For our guests there are two bedrooms to choose from - a single bed and a queen size bed. We are non-smokers and ask our guests to refrain from smoking inside the house.

The listed house was extensively renovated in 2020/21 with a lot of love. The tastefully furnished house has lost none of its charm and originality. Witnesses to its old age are the original parquet and plank floors in the living rooms and bedrooms and terrazzo floors in the kitchen. The house is very carefully furnished with beautiful softwood antiques. In sunshine, life takes place outside on the terrace in the enclosed garden.

We spent a long weekend in this really nice bright apartment. The furnishings are of high quality, modern and very well maintained. Everything was also available for our four-legged friend, and you can easily start the walk right outside the door. By the way, there are great tips for the stay on the Insta page of the FeWo Canhusen. The best conditions for a relaxing stay. I'm sure we'll be back when we're drawn to East Frisia.

We had a great time at the cute vacation home. We were there with a small baby and everything worked out well and was also child-friendly. The stairs were a bit narrow, but that's just the way it is in such houses and we still managed well. I would particularly like to praise the location. You are really in nature and can go paddling, take walks, explore Emden or go to the sea.

Great place, in a quiet area, with everything you may need for a nice vacation. Thea was a great host, very friendly and proactive in providing us with extra tips and opportunities to enjoy our stay, like bicycles for all of us even with a seat for our smallest, a big box of toys for the kids (with cars and Duplo), and a visit to their dairy farm. Our kids (4yo and 19months) absolutely loved the place and had so much fun!

We felt very comfortable at the place. Everything was very clean and everything necessary was available. There is a beautiful terrace and a great winter garden overlooking the field. The "Great Sea" was quickly reached on foot. We arrived late and nevertheless Heiko was available by phone in the evening with all the important information. We will certainly come back.
