Farmstay vacation rentals in Groene Hart

The hosts are really welcoming and the tiny house is impeccable. In addition, an excellent breakfast awaits us upon arrival. The house is really hidden in the backyard. Silence is guaranteed. The garden is beautiful. The only small problem is the 10 Eu per day fee for parking that was not planned (new municipal regulation). And it's hard to find parking; however, the hosts gave us a good hand.

It was a wonderful stay! The Romantic Cottage was cozy and stylish. It was perfect for our needs and offered a relaxing environment after a day of sightseeing. The location was fantastic. The host was friendly and helpful. We would definitely return again!

By far the most beautiful place we have stayed during our travels! We can’t recommend enough and it was worth every penny.

Do not hesitate to go there! It is the perfect getaway! Everything is well thought, well decorated, we felt so quickly at home and at peace. There are some houses and neighbours around the house but you might only see them when you arrive and leave. The place is private and quiet. The view is exactly like the picture, we spent evenings looking at the sky, the birds, the rabbits and the cows. A great place 😊

Léon's accommodation is very nice, well located and very quiet. The terrace was extremely nice after a day of cycling (provided by Léon). The accommodation is close to Delft, The Hague, Rotterdam. the pastries that were waiting for us when we arrived were a delicate touch.

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Alkmaar! It is close enough to enjoy all that the city has to offer, yet it also provides a beautiful, peaceful escape from the business and crowds. Han and Kelly were great hosts, providing helpful recommendations and even rides from the train station and into Alkmaar. We also enjoyed hanging out with the dog, cat and chickens! We would definitely stay here again.

Wow! What an amazing week at 't Vaerkenskot! A beautifully renovated and restored pig barn! You can see it was a labour of love for Lukkie and Lambertus. What an amazing job they have done. The property was set in the gorgeous Zeeland countryside in a small peaceful Hamlet called Dreischor. They welcomed us with open arms and we immediately felt at home. Our dog Betsy normally takes time to adjust, but she felt at home instantly, which is a good sign! We felt we had enough privacy, but with the option to bump into our lovely neighbours we would say hello and chat when we wanted. Lambertus and Lukkie gave us great recommendations in the area. The property had all the amenities and was well kept, clean and with the most beautiful gardens! Although it rained (a lot!) during our stay, we kept warm and happy reading and enjoying the peaceful rest. There’s lots of things in area. Beaches and walks, beautiful cafes. We would stay again!! Thank you for having us! ❤️

We had a lovely time in Irma's vacation home. It includes everything we needed. This is undoubtedly the most complete Airbnb we have visited. It is also well placed to travel around the area. Irma is very responsive and does her best to make your life easier. Recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Wendy and Peter's. The children had a lot of fun with the other children and animals. Eating pizza together, baking cookies and many other activities gave us a great time. The perfect location for a visit to Keukenhof and only a short train ride away from Amsterdam. Esther and Michel were super-friendly and the personal touches like fresh eggs from their own hens, made our stay even more special.

I had an amazing time at the cabin. I am a florist and I came from the USA for the flowers and to learn as much as I could about them, the farming, the flower auctions & the marketing and advertising while I was here. I was traveling solo and her cabin is a perfect location for it all and I felt safe there through out my stay. I also loved the fact that I had the quiet woods and farmland surrounding me but could also be at the beach in a blink of an eye! She was an amazing host with the biggest heart and wonderful recommendations. I so wish to come back one day with my daughter. The cabin and The Netherlands have my heart now! :) Thank you for an amazing trip. P.s.- If you plan to stay here, maybe bring a flashlight because the trail in the woods to the cabin can get a little dark at night! ;)

A pretty little cottage in a quiet location with many exceptional details! Large living room with view of the fields. Well-equipped kitchen. Idyllic courtyard with BBQ and fire pit, plus sandbox! One double bedroom is separate, the children's room is right next to the living room. The upper room is on a gallery with a slope under the roof, but also very cozy. Many excursion destinations in close proximity, we highly recommend Alkmaar! A vacation here is relaxing and varied! Thanks to Leonel and Cor, who were always available and very friendly!

Cute and cozy spot with beautiful surroundings and accommodating hosts, conveniently close to the city without all the hustle & bustle. We especially loved renting a boat nearby at Bootverhuur Overleek and exploring the surrounding villages along picturesque canals. A lovely spot to stay.

If you want a great place, with great hosts, in a peaceful beautiful surroundings this is the place to be. The beds are super comfy, the space has everything you need, facilities are superb. The surrounds are top notch, it’s a little village. The roads are extremely narrow, so politeness is required.

I felt completely at home in the Vogelvlucht for three weeks. Nice balance between respect for privacy and involvement/ hospitality of Irma and her husband. And full of comforts to stay comfortably for a longer period of time. I can recommend it to everyone.

Fantastic house. Well equipped and everything you need in the kitchen. House was quiet and private with a great feel to it. Would strongly recommend. Illonka greeted us and made sure we were comfortable. We couldn’t asked for more

We stayed a few nights with our 2 small kids, mainly to visit Amsterdam, and had a wonderful time. The house was great for us, very clean, enough space for everyone, very nice neighbourhood and restaurants and shops were close by bike or walking. We took the car to the nearest train station (Bussum Zuid) with free parking but without kids and less rain, walking would also have been easily possible. Jaap was very friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome. We would happily come again!

We used Annemarie’s house as a base for our recent trip to the Netherlands. It’s a stand alone building on the larger property and is much bigger than I was expecting. We stayed with our son who is at Uni in Germany, and it was nice to have enough space for our visit. The location is a stunning rural setting and convenient to get around both to Amsterdam area and den Haag/Rotterdam. Annemarie and Dirk were lovely and easy to get a hold of.

Excellent stay at Karin's, in a nice, spacious, very clean apartment. The private terrace is an asset. Communication was excellent and Karin was always very responsive. The seaside resort of Noordwijk is 10 minutes away by car. Be careful if you are a light sleeper, there are many animals at Karin's (horses, chickens, dog) and they wake up early!

We had a very lovely stay in Jisp with Esther and Marc. Spacious accommodation in such a peaceful location. Our hosts were fantastic, so accommodating and helpful. We made the best of the weather with several days of cycling and relaxing. Public transport is excellent as to be expected. We would love to come back and explore more of North Holland.
