Modern thatched cottage on the Focker Strom

We rent out our modern thatched-roof house, which was completed in 2017 and is picturesquely located directly on the Focker Stream. The furnishings are modern, in Scandinavian style and generously furnished. From now on, we will cover all Airbnb fees, which means that you as guests will no longer pay the 15% Airbnb service fees, but we will cover them. This change was made by Airbnb. We therefore had to increase our prices by this 15%. For you, this means: You have de facto NO price increase

Our house is spacious and sunny. We can easily accommodate 8 to 10 and at a pinch 11 guests. The house is suitable for people with disabilities. WiFi is available. Separately, we have built a new sauna with an additional double bed/relaxation room and en suite bathroom. In the garden (4000 sqm) lies a large swimming pool (14x5m)), which can be heated on request. The apartment is in a historic building. We modernized in 2002. It was renovated in 2016, preserving its character.

Next to an old rectory, we have individually expanded a small side room for us, for friends and guests. Some things are modern, others still have the charm of past times. Much seems to us to be coherent, some is still in the making. So nothing is standard. What we have not yet considered and is useful for guests can usually be quickly supplemented. The cottage is surrounded by a natural garden on the edge of the field, so it is located in a small, agriculturally active village.

The apartment was completely renovated in 2017 and offers cozy vacation comfort for everyone. It is important to us that all guests feel comfortable with us and are happy to answer questions and make individual arrangements. Saal is the ideal starting point for exploring the Bodden region. Our vacation home is close to Greifswald. It is a 220 m² vacation home, right on the water for max. 12 people. Between Stralsund and Greifswald, the islands of Rügen and Usedom with their wide sandy beaches are reachable in 20 minutes by car. A rowing boat and a sauna in the sauna house are available to tenants on site. We offer pure nature and tranquility, no traffic, the location on the water is unique. Our house is particularly suitable for families and groups.

This holiday house, completed in September 2025, is in a quiet location in Stralsund/Devin, not far from the Strelasund. A small swimming beach as well as the spa park with spa house(restaurant) are within walking distance. A bus stop in the immediate vicinity allows convenient excursions to the old town of Stralsund. Southeast of Devin is the nature reserve "Peninsula Devin" and the Devin recreational area was newly created with about 17 km of hiking trails.
