"Skovhytten" has remained almost unchanged since it was designed by the painter Aage Lund in 1922 and was built by local craftsmen from Tibirke. Lund used it as a studio for two decades and the house still houses several of his paintings and has Lund's original color scheme. Since then, it has been a summer house and workroom for Denmark's most famous classical composer in the 20th century and was owned by the family for more than 75 years.” The house is located in Tisvilde Lunde. Tisvilde town and the beach can be reached by bike through the forest in 10 minutes.

Bedroom with an elevated bed, children's room with a sofa bed and loft, alcove in the living room and extra sleeping places in the annex.

The house is in classic Nordic style, nicely maintained and practically furnished with 2 bedrooms plus 2 annexes, wood stove, heat pump, washing machine and dishwasher, grill, etc. The annexes are cozy, have electric heating and good double beds. The garden is large, completely enclosed and with old trees and a fire pit. You are welcome to borrow our bikes for a walk in the woods, to the beach, or for shopping.

Here you can find a sunny spot all day, and the last evening sun is enjoyed on the covered west-facing terrace. The house is nice and well-equipped, and you will feel at home right away. Here is a good walking/bicycle path to Gilleleje (3 km) and to Dronningmølle. Gas grill can be used freely. Look forward to renting our lovely cottage.
