So enjoyed our weekend away! It was peaceful and we had beautiful weather as well - which was surprising for June. Walking distance to and from the beach. Enjoyed the fire pit area and chats around the fire and the pool. Good kitchen facilities and sleeping accommodation. Everything was clean. The neighborhood also felt safe. Claudette is also a very good host - very helpful and responsive with queries pre-check-in and throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely and well kept, Heleen was super as a host, the location was amazing with clever architecture to hide from the wind and still enjoy the clear nights and days.

We had an amazing stay. The house is beautiful with spectacular views of the mountains and vineyard. Owen the manager was extremely helpful and quick to respond whenever we needed anything. We will definitely be back!

This was such a memorable experience. Spotless, beautiful,modern and at a good location. Enjoyed the king size bed and coffee and all the amenities. Alines dad was friendly,responsive and availing. I love the interior furnishings specifically the bath and the quiet tranqulity of the home as well the close proximity to whale coast mall and the waterfront. I would recommend this place to others and it was a wonderful commemoration of my parent's 70th birthday. .

A lovely, spacious family holiday home. The open plan upstairs area was great to hang out and spend quality time together as a group, indoors and on the deck. Plenty of bedroom space for everyone. A great kitchen with all necessary items, and a fireplace. Proximity to the beach and the boardwalk for some outdoor time, couldn’t be better. Appreciated the flexible check out offered by Rita.

From the moment we arrived, our stay was truly wonderful. The house is located on a peaceful street where the sound of the ocean adds a calming touch to the atmosphere. It’s just a short stroll to the beach, complete with benches and scenic walkways that invite you to linger. The home itself is spacious and thoughtfully furnished with high-quality fittings that made our three-day stay exceptionally comfortable. We would definitely return to Clayden’s place in the near future.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful, well equipped and tastefully decorated. High quality and well appointed kitchen. Gorgeous outside area for dining, and a little plunge pool for hot days. The town is walkable and full of great restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this house for a wonderful Franshhoek holiday.

We had the loveliest stay at 360 on 62. The cottage is quaint and beautifully styled with antique furniture and thoughtful finishes. We especially loved soaking in the hot tub under the stars – absolutely magical! It's a great base for exploring the Langeberg area, with plenty to do nearby. The honesty shop is such a charming touch too. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place to stay to break away from the city. Would highly recommend for a group of friends just looking to have a good time and forget about the city life. Hosts are amazing! Very responsive and provides clear instructions for check in and check out. We will definitely be back when they put in the hot tub :) (currently a little swimming pool with the cottage)

78 Beach Road is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. We stayed for 4 nights (2 adults and 1 teenager). It’s spacious, calm and has everything you need. We visited after a week in Cape Town so we’re ready to relax, with the ocean views and sound of the waves it was perfect. We enjoyed using the indoor Braai, the plunge pool in the garden and evening walks along the rock paths. There is so much to do in the area especially if you have a car including zip lines, shark/whale watching, hiking, beach days, penguins, botanical gardens, local wildlife and much more, it’s a beautiful landscape. The owner was very responsive when we had questions we all felt safe and comfortable. We would love to stay here again it was perfect.

Our stay at Goedemoed Farm House was absolutely divine- it is perfect for a large family gathering or a weekend getaway with friends; spacious, naturally beautiful and so comfortable. A little difficult to locate as you lose service on the road approaching the entrance gate but once you find the house it is a heavenly abode.

What a magical place. The house has enough space and amenities that it’s lovely in both warm and cold weather. The location is so beautiful and Jannie was an extremely friendly and helpful host. This was our second time here and we will definitely continue coming back here.

Such a lovely place. Great location, right next door to a restaurant but tucked far back enough to be peaceful. exceptionally beautiful garden too. And McGregor is a really charming town

The thoughtful additional amenities and responsive host truly enhanced our stay. The pear farm was a delightful place to explore, and my dog absolutely loved running around the grounds and splashing in the dam. A hose conveniently attached to the cottage was perfect for rinsing off our feet and cleaning up the dog after each outing, helping us keep the indoors tidy. While the road noise was as expected, the morning activity right behind the cottage was surprising and made sleeping in a bit challenging. It also startled my dog, as workers were busy quite close to the bedroom. Additionally, the garden area lacks privacy due to the cottage setup, with the other guests' entrances being close together, but this wasn't an issue with us as our neighbor was quiet.

Our stay at The Vino Dome was nothing short of magical with this unique accommodation exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that an extraordinary amount of care and thought had gone into every aspect of the design. The attention to detail was impeccable — from the charming decor to the thoughtfully curated amenities, everything was intricately designed to create a luxurious yet cozy experience. The dome itself was beautifully appointed, blending modern comfort with whimsical elegance. Every little feature, from the lighting to the layout, felt purposeful and special. It’s clear the creators poured their hearts into making this place unforgettable. The location was close to town and surrounded by world-class restaurants, wine farms, delightful boutiques, and art galleries. Overall, our stay was truly fantastic, an experience to remember!

Myself and four close friends (plus our three fur children!) stayed at Koude Vlakte Farm for and it was an absolutely stunning property to use as our base for a few days. The rooms were both beautifully decorated and so comfortable and cosy during the chilly winter evenings. The kitchen was such a great communal space to cook together and play games. Bruce was also incredibly helpful and communicative and we cannot thank him enough for his hospitality. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a serene spot to stay in Stanford.

Modern listing with a beautiful garden and patio. We loved sitting on the patio, watching the birds. The place was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. Tanya was a great and very responsive host. We will highly recommend this listing.

We fell in love with the village of Stanford and the soul restoring River Home. This beautiful house is right on the river's edge and is a real treat (and retreat) to stay in. Just the place to surrender to nature, listen to the birdsong, rest and restore. We loved walking along the delightful river path. A short walk into the centre of town will bring you to several delightful restaurants. We ate at three of them (for lunch at Madré we enjoyed a really good pork belly with crispy skin and vegetables, at La Trattoria we had a feast of authentic Italian food and Agteros has a menu full of delightful South African dishes done with a modern twist). We also brownsed in some delightful homewear and gift shops. If you prefer eating at home, the kitchen at River House has everything you need to cook a gourmet meal. It is spotless, has a great gas hob and electric oven and a dishwasher for cleaning up after.
