Cabin vacation rentals in Great Sacandaga Lake

Our stay was all good. FYI, the space is on a high 2nd floor, be sure you can handle some steps.

Great place to stay! Beautiful and peaceful, within walking distance to a small beach area. Kayaks were available to use and the dock was available for fishing. Dana was friendly and responded quickly to questions. Would absolutely recommend and would stay here again

We had a party of nine people and one curious cat. The house was very comfortable spacious and everyone was able to feel great in their own space. The open floor concept from the kitchen to the living room was our favorite place to congregate. Everything you could possibly want or need is There. The place was clean and the air conditioners made it feel extremely comfortable in the high 90° temperatures. The hot tub was phenomenal. We had a barbecue and made some s’mores. I would highly recommend this place if you have a large family and want to enjoy Lake George.

This was a great stay in a remote wooded location with beautiful views. The space was small but perfect for two people. There was a lot to do in the area and Jon recommended a few great activities as well. We had an awesome time.

Lovely place... they did a great job inside and out. We wished we could have stayed longer. We lost cell reception while there so it was difficult to communicate with Jeff after we'd arrived but Internet worked well enough for entertainment and a little work.

This was a lovely Adirondack cabin getaway. very private and peaceful surroundings, and its just close enough (~15/20 min) to town and 25 min to Lake George. The home was clean and cozy with a fun basement full of activities and an amazing hot tub!! Uzma and Billy were very responsive throughout our visit. I'd definitely stay here again.

Joel’s place is amazing, private property and comfortable beds. We stayed for 5 weeks on a work assignment. We are 4 big dudes and we all had our own space. It’s 30 min from Schenectady and 45 min from Albany. Joel is a laid back accommodating host. He is responsive and understanding. Hands down the best host I’ve had in a long stay on Airbnb. Highly recommend the spot. It’s a nice getaway not too far away.

We had a great Memorial Day weekend escape at the cabin! Thomas was super responsive to our questions throughout the weekend, including recommending a couple breweries and directing us where to pick up firewood. we had no trouble sleeping 4 adults and 4 kids. the game room in the basement was clutch for hanging out after the kids went to bed. we loved the privacy and the beauty of the land itself sitting on the porch having coffee every morning was a big hit. the proximity to the lake was great and it was a short drive to Saratoga for more fun options. we would stay again

Second stay at this place. Engaged to my wife while staying here 4 years ago and this time we brought our 1 1/2 yr old son and sister in law. Very peaceful! The village of lake George is close enough to go to and from as often as you want effortlessly but far enough to enjoy peace. The firework shows with the echo through the mountains and across the lake are visible and audibly stunning! Ania provides everything you need for that rustic cabin experience and immediate response with any other questions. My sister in law fell in love with the location. I taught her how to fish and within 5 minutes she caught her first fish, 2 lb large mouth bass, right off the dock at the lake Ania provides. Ania provides a binder with all the local to dos anyone not familiar with the area could want but I’ll be honest, my favorite part was having nothing to do and enjoying the tranquility with my family.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The cabin was perfect and I really enjoyed being in nature. It was easy to find and felt right at home when we got there. The out house was close by and I loved waking up to see the pond and fountain 😊

This was our 5th visit. That should tell you something good. Dogs are welcome and had fun! Very private. Very comfortable

Nancy is a very responsive, kind, and generous host. She maintain the place well. It is a lovely area. The stay was very enjoyable.

Camille was very responsive and welcoming, house was very cute and spacious, loved the waterfront access and fire pit!

First of all the pictures for this place don’t do it justice! It’s a beautiful home and way bigger than we expected! We had a great weekend at John’s place and can’t wait to comeback and stay again.

Our stay was lovely. The weather was not so great however, being right on the lake made it so much nicer. Beautiful views. The bedroom is in the front of the house so you do hear the noise from the main road but that was a small issue compared to all the rest of the house. Beautiful. Can not wait for next years trip.

Went here to celebrate my birthday with a few friends and it was amazing, chase has everything you would need already at the bnb he left clear instructions for me to follow as well as responding right away to any questions i had.

The host was very responsive and helped us at check in and check out. The cabin was gorgeous and the surrounding views spectacular! We will definitely come back!

Very nice property with outstanding scenery and solitude yet not too far from town …

The campground is peaceful, well-kept, extremely clean, and well-organized. The sites are spacious and a great mix of pull-through and back-ins. With two young children, I appreciated how quiet the campground was - I didn't have to worry about cars and golf carts zipping past our site. The cabin itself was really great and a happy medium between camping and glamping. The shower was hot, and having our own restroom and kitchenette was so convenient for our family. Cumberland Farms and Dunkin were only a few minutes' drive away for added convenience. It is a straight shot down 149 to Lake George / the outlets, which is also a massive perk. We will be visiting again.

Ainsley has provided all of the basic necessities to sit up housekeeping. Unfortunately, the rainy weekend didn’t encourage much exploration beyond the front door. However, the cottage was well stocked with necessities, superbly clean & the only thing that I might recommend is to place at least a few hooks to hang things on in the bedroom without a closet.

The cabin is exactly as described. A great location right on the lake. Way out so you can get away. The host is very responsive and is right in town in case you need anything. Can’t say anything negative - everything extremely positive. 100% recommend!!

We had a great stay! We were visiting family who lives in town so didn’t spend too much time at the house but it was a perfect place to lay our heads at night! So quiet, clean and cozy! We look forward to coming back soon!

Lesley’s cabin was absolutely beautiful! We thoroughly enjoyed the secluded location and the abundant wildlife surrounding us. We even had the privilege of waking up to a deer right outside our door! Lesley provided us with very detailed directions, which were instrumental in helping us find the cabin, considering its secluded location. My husband and I highly recommend this place.

We enjoyed our brief, three night stay while we went skiing at Lapland Lake. The place was just what we were looking for. Sarah was great at communicating, but honestly, we had everything we needed and everything was explained well in a binder on the kitchen island.
