What a great find! Keith was accommodating and made everything easy from the start. It is right on the water with a great view - peaceful and serene. All of the creature comforts are there, but the real highlight is the screened-in porch. The cottage had everything I needed. Will definitely stay again!

Great little place to stay out of the way! Came to Waxhaw to take care off my parent's estate and it was nice to come back to Lori's place to relax at the end of the night and decompress. Would stay again!

Carrie was a great host! If you are looking for a peaceful get away with still lots of nature inclined things to do this is the place! The A-frame was the perfect “glam-ping” spot, nice cozy indoor bed with a great outdoor kitchen and fire pit! The fire pit even comes with a grate to cook on open flame. The bath houses were really nice in the sense that it was separate toilet and shower areas, only one toilet and shower to a house making it private even though it is “shared”, the bath houses were cleaned each day as well keeping them fresh. The nature is my favorite part about this location, the lake is stunning and full of fish, and other then very few other residents it is a very private lake, they have paddle boards, kayaks, and canoes for free use. The wooden tower in the photos is two levels of jumping platforms to jump in the lake which was super fun! They have a bunch of farm animals they let you feed and pet too! Overall such a wonderful place that has everything you can need!

My husband and I spent an extended weekend in Waxhaw for a family event. This rental was absolutely perfect in every way! We were less than a mile from our family, the location was private, secluded and beautiful. The rental was just stunning, from the building itself down to every little decor detail inside. The space was clean and inviting. After long activity filled days, this was the perfect quiet retreat. Nestled in the woods with cozy outdoor seating, it was the perfect way to end a day. The inside was immaculate. The linens were fresh and there were plenty of towels available. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the mini split kept the place comfortable no matter how hot or humid the outside was. We are already looking forward to booking again on our next trip down! As a bonus, we found Cane Creek Park just minutes away and spent two days there fishing! Thank you for the wonderful accommodations!
