Perfect for both relaxing weekends and adventurous travelers, with fishing, surfing, and hiking nearby. The drive requires a 4x4 vehicle. If you don't have your own, we can help organise a car hire during your stay. Alternatively, pick up & drop off shuttles are available on the island.

Medland Mystic: Self Contained Studio

Medland Mystic Studio accommodation in a bush setting with a sea-view. Medland Mystic is an easy 15 minutes stroll or a short 4 minute drive to the beautiful Medland Beach. Private and self contained, book Medland Mystic for a weekend or a weeks getaway, featuring a king bed, stovetop/oven and fridge/freezer, its ideal for self catering with a well equiped kitchen. Sit on the deck and enjoy the view, birds and bush or eat out at one of the cafes, restaurants around the Island.

The Patch, surf, fish & dive cabin on Barrier.

Surf, fish & dive for adventurous couples. The Patch is located in front of the Shark Alley surfbreak near Medlands. 2 cabins joined by a deck. Amenities include 230V solar power, outdoor hot shower with decent pressure & tons of water, a Webber BBQ, water filter, F&P dishwasher, a kayak, 2 surfboards (1x foam, 1 x Epoxy). What it doesn't have: a bathroom, we currently use the kitchen sink, toilet is a longdrop. There is excellent Wifi, thanks to our Starlink dish.

175° East - Pitokuku House

Pitokuku House is a 2021 built home, nestled into the bush. This house focuses on maximum relaxation. The sprawling decks connect with generous inside spaces that have everything you need! The main house has a well thought out kitchen, beer and wine fridge, a sunny nook and two generously sized bedrooms. The master bedroom has a large ensuite. A dozen meters from the back deck, there is a cozy brand new cabin which also has a queen room and bunk room.

Built in 1901, Fitzroy House is the original homestead and is set within the 240 ha pest-proof fenced Glenfern Sanctuary. The much loved home of the Bouzaid family, Fitzroy House is offered for the first time for families to share and experience this unique, off grid location. Wake up to the chorus of native birdlife or take a stroll up to sunset rock for stunning 360 degree views of Port Fitzroy harbour.

Mason Canyon

A unique & very private mini-estate only mins from Medlands Beach. Surrounded by native bush in a sheltered sound shell—a small funky Californian bungalow will be your base.
