Sa situation sur le célèbre Canal du Midi, au cœur du Lauragais, entre Toulouse et Carcassonne, en fait un gîte exceptionnel. Atmosphère paisible, environnement unique, pour un séjour atypique sur une péniche chaleureuse pouvant accueillir jusqu’à 7 personnes (animaux non admis) : terrasse sur l’eau, espace repas sur la berge à la nature sauvage et avec des couchers de soleil magnifiques.

The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

La Cabane du Chevreuil welcomes you to a 4 ha permaculture site for a comfortable, exotic and informative stay in the heart of nature. Located in the heart of our farm on the hillsides of the Auterivain basin, this mobile home, embellished with a green and flowery area, is suitable for a couple with or without children. It includes the necessary comforts for a pleasant stay. It consists of an equipped kitchen with living room, a bedroom with a 160 x 200 cm bed, a bedroom with two 90 x 190 cm beds, a bathroom and a toilet. It gives access to a small terrace to have your meals outside.
