Really loved Liezl's Salt Cave Eco Hut! It's charming, rustic, vibrant, all while being adequately kitted out. It's a bit off the beaten track to get there, but once you're in the holiday vibes definitely kick in. The beds are also very comfortable. We braaied, chilled in the hot tub, and enjoyed the local game wandering the farm. Really lekker!

Our stay at Hardlines was just magical. The setting in the mountain in the forest is exceptional. The house is spacious and beautifully decorated. We had everything we needed. The fireplace kept us warm with more than enough wood. The kitchen has all the utensils you need. I wouldn't easily stay anywhere else in Magoebaskloof and highly recommend Harlines.

I was worried that the house wouldn’t look as nice as it did in the pictures, but wow, it was even better in person. It is a stunning place. Open plan and beautiful, it brought the outside in. It was peaceful and animals happily wandered past. The stars at night were just insane!! It’s in a really great spot, but also close to amenities. Will definitely be back!!

There are no words to describe just how incredible our stay here has been. I messaged Tracey to ask if she would consider renting the cottage to us for 3 months as I am working in Tzaneen but waiting for my transfer back home to be finalized. She responded immediately! From the moment myself, my mother and my now 9 month old daughter arrived, we were treated like family. On arrival, we had freshly baked bread and homemade butter waiting for us as well as ice cold iced tea in the fridge. It is a beautiful rustic cottage with large windows located on a breathtaking nursery farm. Everything inside the cottage was spotless and we had everything that we needed. The washing machine makes laundry so convenient, and the kitchen is equipped with everything that you would need to prepare a lovely meal from scratch. She invited us over multiple times for lunch and dinner and made us feel right at home. She and Bernard are pillars of the community and we are forever grateful for their hospitality!

We thought Trogon cottage was wonderful. The setting is magical and they really have thought of everything in terms of making the stay at the cottage really special - from bubble bath for the outside bath to enough firewood to keep the cottage cosy. Thank you, Mark.
