Stone Cottage in Grounds of a 16th-Century Castle

The cottage sits on the grounds of a castle dating back to 1543 offering an authentic stay. The interior retains a decor that matches the historic charm of the area with modern comforts added and a shared pool in the stunning gardens outside. This is our smallest cottage and cannot take an additional bed or cot. The other cottages are all larger and can do this. All 3 cottages can be rented separately or together. They are in the grounds of a 16th century castle with beautiful gardens and large swimming pool enclosed by stone walls. The lower salon and summer kitchen in the main chateau is available to share. Access is by the side garden gate and all cottages are accessed by stone steps- sadly not suitable for wheelchairs. We will most likely be present living in the main Chateau and available to help and advise about restaurants and things to do in the area. We will share the pool and gardens. The old village is in a beautiful part of France that is has retained its iconic beauty through the centuries and still feels untouched by modern life in many places. Experience true local dining and bakeries with scenic walking trails all around. parking is in the church square below the Chateau. There is a local taxi service in the village and bus service to Avignon, Banyols sur Ceze and Uzes but car hire is recommended. We are 20 minutes from Avignon TGV rail station and about an hour from Marseille, Nimes or Montpellier airports. The cottages are completely private and tranquil.

Come and rest in this pleasant independent space (separate kitchenette and shower room). Your favorite pet is welcome. Confortable logement de 60m2 dans un mas typique en pierres du 18ème au milieu des vignes. Accès, terrasse et parking indépendants . Sur la commune de Saint-Montan (village de caractère). Logement: 1 chambre : lit en 160, bureau et dressing. Pièce de vie: salon canapé clic-clac, tv et wifi cuisine équipée (four, lave vaisselle, nespresso, induction..) Très grande salle de bain avec lave linge, baignoire, douche, 2 vasques. Matériel bébé (chaise haute, lit bb) et livres enfants.

This old barn dating from the 15th century was a silk factory! With an area of 75 square meters, it is composed of a large living room with open kitchen, sitting area with sofa bed, wood-burning stove..., and upstairs a large bedroom with bathroom. Gite du Moulin

Quiet, in a typical old restored mill located in the heart of nature by the stream, not overlooked, at the foot of the CEVENNES. Part of the building is converted into a spacious and cool 110 m² cottage for 6/7 people. On the ground floor you have the living room, dining room/kitchen. Upstairs, three bedrooms and a mezzanine, bathroom, toilet. The mill is 600 m from Banne. A five-minute drive away you have several shops.

Head in the clouds and feet in the water

Former agricultural building, this 75 m2 house has been completely renovated after 3 years of work (end of work July 2021) This renovation was done with great care, for a premium service. In each of the rooms the view is striking, charming or even aerial… It is a real little eagle's nest that dominates the village… but with your feet in the water… The Roanne River and its natural pools are a 5-minute walk away.
