The cabin is reached via a path of about 1 km with 150 meters of elevation gain. The path is steep and takes 15–30 minutes. Light luggage is recommended. Best suited for 2 people, but has sleeping accommodations for 4. The cabin has electricity, piped water from a nearby stream and a toilet. There is no shower. The nearest village with grocery store is Granvin, about 20 minutes drive from the cabin. Voss city center is a 35-minute drive from the cabin.
