The Grand Mesa is beautiful! We are located at 10,200' in elevation. THERE WILL ALWAYS BE SNOW ON THE GROUND THROUGH MAY AND INTO JUNE. We have a total of 9 cabins for rent. We are across the street and a short walk to two lakes, beautiful scenery, hiking trails, XC skiing, atv-ing, snowmobiling, canoeing, mtn biking, and great fishing! We rent boats, stand up paddle boards & snowshoes. We also have snowmobile tours and rentals. There's something for everyone!

Nestled in our elm forest, the casita is a private and tranquil oasis. This home was naturally built with earth based materials. Enjoy the views of our beautiful pond right outside the back deck with your morning coffee! Although small, it is completely equipped with a full kitchen, bathroom, instant hot water, and laundry. Paonia is a short two minute drive, 5 minute bike ride, or 15 minute walk away. We hope you decide to come stay with us!

Cozy Spacious Cabin

360 degrees of breathtaking views unlike no other! Situated at the base of Powderhorn Mountain Resort and the entrance of the Grand Mesa National Forest this. A perfect place for large families and groups to get away, and have the room to relax. The primary suite and the second bedroom are located on the main level. Downstairs has a bedroom and a large bunk room that can sleep 12 people, alone. WiFi and smart TV.

The Blue Bear is a quiet, comfortable home base for your outdoor adventures and a peaceful place to reconnect with family and friends. Located a few miles outside of Cedaredge on the southern slope of the Grand Mesa, convenient to nordic and alpine skiing, hiking and fishing.
