Castle vacation rentals in Grand Est

Great stay for a family party. There is enough bathroom for everyone, the kitchen is nice. The garden and trampoline were enjoyed by young and old too.

Not many travelers get to say that they’ve stayed in a chateau like Jacques’ in Thenissey. I live in Dijon and used to work in the area so when I found this accommodation to surprise my mom & brother during their visit, we were all overwhelmed with the simple beauty of this chateau and the countryside around it. Jacques is very kind and welcoming. If we needed anything, he was just a phone call away. He offered to show us around his chateau and we regret not finding the time to do so in our plans. The accommodation is modern and up to date with everything you need, including in the kitchen and two bathrooms. A train does by pass by but you will need a car to explore the region. And come already equipped with groceries and a full tank of gas because the closest supermarket is about 15-20min away! We absolutely loved the moats, “feeding” the fish, the staircase into the basement, and even the chateau-smell that makes this experience absolutely worth it during your visit to Burgundy.

Delightful stay I have visited similar facilities as a tourist many times and have always dreamed of living in one of these rooms. With two wonderful and passionate sister, I was able to fulfill my dream. The breakfast was delicious, and after that we had a fantastic surprise, completely free of charge we had a tour of the entire castle along with the underground

We loved our stay at Rosita's place! It's a special place with a special history. Ideal to relax and unwind. The site has been very nicely restored, the guest rooms have all the comfort and have remained authentic. You need to go there to experience it! Rosita is a good hostess  very attentive and very flexible. Recommend! Merci Rosita!

The castle was amazing, we stayed in the Sequoia suite. This was large, beautiful decor, everything we could wish for. Plus a tower room! And the bed was at least 2.5 meters wide, fantastic! The castle is full of the nicest trinkets, there are so many original details to discover. Every day, Brigitte gave us a route map with tips in the region to supplement our own plans. Really very convenient, we have visited so many beautiful places. When we came back, play a game in one of the beautiful spaces of the castle. Followed by a delicious 3-course dinner from Brigitte. We even got 2 recipes, it was so delicious! We enjoyed the castle, the surroundings and the enormous hospitality of Brigitte. We would love to come back again! Brigitte thanks for everything!

Beautiful small castle-like mansion with a large private park. Marie-Thérése is a super friendly and helpful host!

We stayed two nights with our adult children and friends. Plenty of room for all, enjoyed the pool and outdoors. Had lovely meals together in the large kitchen! Wonderful time.

Absolutely stunning and peaceful location! We where so relaxed during our stay here. The rooms are spacious and decorated nicely. The grounds of the chateau are simply breathtaking! So much nature, wildlife, stunning flowers and its peaceful extremely quiet surroundings made this place very special. Our family loved our stay at the chateau and we were sad when our time was over here. Highly recommend!

Pleasant stay at Thomas-Jérôme's. The accommodation is of sufficient comfort for a single person who aspires a few days of "green". For hiking enthusiasts, the location is equidistant from the Mormal Forest, Val Joly and Fourmies Forest, which is very convenient. All are located about 20 minutes from the site by car (a vehicle is essential to get there). In addition, the accommodation is close to a cheap convenience store and the city center (a few minutes' walk away) whose old buildings are full of character.

The place is very nice and recommended.

This place is definitely worth it! Both hosts were super friendly and always helped. The highlight for us was the table tennis table in the church ruins and the nearby zoo. If we are back in the area, we would come back! :)

The Chateau apartment was beautifully furnished, with a beautiful view of the surroundings, clean, very comfortable and equipped with every comfort. The location was ideal, for visits to many Champagne houses, definitely worth visiting the Champagne house of the owner Alain, we got an impressive tour through the vineyards & cellars with of course a Champagne tasting, by the way Champagnes of the host are definitely recommended. Alain is very friendly and helpful, was always ready to help with questions or tips. Also very nice is that all basic needs are present on arrival, so you do not have to go directly to the supermarket. We really enjoyed the stay and would love to come back again.

We had a lovely stay at Chateau de Charbogne, the place was magical, each room with its bathroom and toilet. Everything went extremely well, came to celebrate a birthday, everyone was delighted with the stay! Thanks so much and see you soon

Secluded between fields, forests and lonely lakes, we experienced very nice days in a fairytale atmosphere. In the morning breakfast in the yard, interesting excursions in the area during the day and later end the day with a view of the castle garden in the setting sun. The apartment is tastefully decorated, the conditions of the historic walls are well integrated. There is no lack of equipment.
