Beachfront vacation rentals in Grad Hvar

This property was so lovely. It is quite small, but perfect for a solo traveller like myself or a couple. Such a lovely outside space to enjoy the natural surroundings and sea. The sea is just a step across a quiet road and down some stone steps and straight into the water. Beautiful! There is a lovely pebbly beach 5 mins walk away if you prefer not to swim off the rocks. The walk into the main town is about 20 mins. The host Darije is a lovely man and always so helpful. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Sime und Jelka waren sehr gute Gastgeber und sehr freundlich. Die Kommunikation war fließend. Ich hatte ein Problem mit der Matratze und Jelka war sehr offen und hat mir sehr schnell eine gute Lösung gezaubert danke! Sie ist sehr bemüht das es an nichts fehlt☺️. Die Lage einfach top, zu Fuss 3 min vom Meer, 12min vom Zentrum Hvar. Sehr ruhig gelegen. Parkplatz vor dem Haus. 2 Riesen Terrasse zum verweilen mit wunderschönen Sonnenuntergängen😍. Ein Duschvorhang wäre ideal im Bad. Die Wohnung ist einfach eingerichtet mit Gasherd in der Küche, was genial ist! Vielen Dank Jelka und kann dieser Ort mit gutem Gefühl weiter empfehlen! Hvala

The apartament was compact and nice, equipped with everything someone can ask for, Marija and her family are very friendly and respond quickly for questions. Worth it!

Barbara et sa belle maman ont été des superbes hôtes. Nous avons été accueilli dès notre arrivée et des conseils nous ont été donné pour nous sentir au mieux dans l'appartement. A l'intérieur tout était comme sur les photos, ainsi que la vue qui n'a pas manquée de nous plaire. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

We had a fantastic stay! The accommodation is in a perfect location—close to plenty of great restaurants, bars, and local spots. Although we arrived earlier than the official check-in time, Vlad was incredibly accommodating and kindly let us in early. We were welcomed with a beautifully prepared home and thoughtful extras like fresh fruit, cheese, ham, beers, wine, and water in the fridge. The house itself is comfortable, with cozy beds and a great space to relax after a long day of work. It really felt like a home away from home. Vlad was an exceptional host—responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely hospitable. He went above and beyond by sending us recommendations for amazing places to eat and even helped us secure a reservation at one of the island's top restaurants. On our last day, he graciously allowed us to store our heavy luggage in his basement after checkout, which was a huge help since we had a late flight. I can't speak highly enough of both the place and Vlad’s hospitality

Steps away from a beautiful and not crowded beach (mid- July). Because it’s away from the £££ area of Hvar, beach beds are only €20 for two including parasol. Apartment has two bathrooms, so big enough for 4 adults, assuming you are eating out in the evenings.

Zeljko Ante is een vriendelijke host die klaarstaat voor zijn/haar gasten. Hij heeft ons een rit gegeven naar de goede supermarkten op het eiland. Heeft een keer voor ons vlees gegrillt en heeft ons op de laatste dag 2x naar de haven gebracht voor vertrek. Topgozer.

Spomenka was very nice and help us from the first day, how to come to her apartment, organized a taxi etc. she was very friendly and lovely and gave as recommendations for staying in Hvar. When we needed something, she responded very fast. The apartment has a nice view on the sea, and is 10 min on foot away from the port. It has everything you need for a good vacation in Hvar :-)

Josipa's place was in a beautiful location, very near to the centre of Stari Grad and to the Port. Josipa upgraded our apartment when we arrived to a lovely apartment with a great pool and sea view. Josipa offered to pick us up from the Ferry port at the start of our stay and gave us a lift back to the Ferry at the end of the stay. Apartment was a good size, with everything we needed in the Kitchen and a lovely big double bed, which was very comfy. Josifa even gave us a present of some local biscuits, when we left. We had a lovely stay and would love to return in the future. Thank you Josifa.

The location was wonderful. I traveled with three teenagers who loved that they could walk to the town to go out at night and walk to the beach. The adults loved the pool and how close the beaches were. The only thing that wasn’t 100% great was the air conditioning. He needed another unit in the living room area of the upper apartment. We were there in July when temperatures were 90 degrees + and we couldn’t use the living room, too hot. I would definitely book again.

The house is located in a peaceful and safe area. There is a pleasant terrace by the apartment with a view of the entire bay. We had a fantastic view both in the morning and in the evening. The host is very friendly and gave us lots of valuable tips about the place, the area, and the whole island. On the other side of the bay, there are two restaurants, and one of them serves only fresh fish. I 100% recommend this restaurant. The resort also offers SUPs and a kayak. Kayaking in the bay in the morning is amazing. The water is very clear. I highly recommend this place.

Villa Huerte is in a peaceful, quiet location just outside of Hvar. We enjoyed our stay there. Lovorka is an incredible host. She welcomed us with an early check in. Her information package was very complete with places to visit, restaurant recommendations, and things to do around the island. Her suggestions were spot on. We ate at several of her recommended restaurants and had amazing meals. Breakfast in the morning was very nice as well. The view from the deck while eating really started the day off nicely. Relaxing around the pool and on the dock was an added bonus after a day of sightseeing. Thanks so much Lovorka.

La villa Huerte est magnifique , tout comme le lieu. Lovorka et Filip sont très accueillants et attentionnés ainsi que tout l'ensemble du personnel. Nous avons passé 3 jours merveilleux entre la piscine et la mer 🧡❤💛💚💙💜. Du bleu plein les yeux ! 🐟🐠🐡

Loved staying here. Couldn’t recommend it more. Super close to town but still removed enough from it that you don’t hear the noise.

Divan smještaj na divnoj lokaciji! Opremljen svime potrebnim za i više nego ugodan ostanak. Krevet je bio puno ljepši nego na slikama, sve ostalo kao na fotografijama. Toplo preporučujem!

We spent a week at this beautiful lower level condo. Had a great view and walkable to town of Hvar and the beach. We did have a car so we did explore other beaches throughout the Island. We loved the fast food restaurant right next door and the shaded parking.

This apartment is perfectly situated in Hvar old town! The hosts have strong local connections that they shared with us and the best bar in town was just outside our door! And we didn’t even hear the bar downstairs when we went to bed. Comfortable, clean, safe - great space!

Beba and Jurko are amazing hosts. The best I have had in my Airbnb experience. They were very responsive , very hospitable . The location is absolutely perfect. Quick walk to city center. Quite at night. Unbelievable view. Perfect place in Hvar!

L’appartement était très bien équipé, nous avions tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Viktorija répondait rapidement à nos interrogations. Superbe vue du balcon, à moins de 10 minutes à pied du port. L’appartement était spacieux pour accueillir confortablement 2 personnes. Un supermarché juste en face et un plus grand à quelques minutes facilite les courses pour cuisiner nos repas dans une cuisine ultra -équipée. Condiments, huile d’olive olive fournis, ce qui est grandement apprécié. Lave-linge et corde à linge très pratique pour les voyageurs légers. Je recommande fortement cet hébergement et y retournerais sans aucune hésitation.

We had a wonderful week at Lucija's place . Very beautiful location and lovely apartment with gorgeous large terrace overlooking outstanding views of the bay . Lucija is such a lovely host and we were warmly greeted on our arrival - we immediately felt very much at home . The apartment and terrace complete with sun loungers as well as comfy patio chairs & table for dining , has everything you need and very clean ,comfortable, peaceful and safe. There are many areas on the rocks across the road from where you can swim and the supermarket and lovely local bars and restaurants are conveniently just down the road as awell as Hvar town being just twenty minute coastal walk. We enjoyed visiting beautiful Pokonji Dol beach which is a picturesque twenty minute walk - 20 euros for beach loungers and 10 euros for umbrella . Nice beach restaurant too . We feel so grateful to have had such a pefect holiday staying in lucija's home and highly recommend .

Great stay at Ivica’s place. Very close to a beautiful beach and not too far from the town also. 😊
