House vacation rentals in Government Camp

Todd’s place was so great! We booked last minute for a quick weekend getaway and it was exactly what we needed. The house is beautiful and cozy. We loved the big windows and fireplace! He had plenty of wood chopped and ready to go for us. Everything was very clean and the beds were super comfy. Love that it’s dog friendly, too! Our pups had a blast :) 10/10 - will be back!

All amenities described in the listing were there. Complete package with board games, hot-tub, arcade other games in the game room, etc. It was an EXCELLENT place to stay for a great price. The host was very responsive and helpful. I strongly recommend this place for a fun-loving group looking for adventures in Mount Hood or nearby.

We loved staying at Michael's place! He's a great host and it's a beautiful house. The house is spacious and had the perfect amount of rooms and beds for our group. Traveling to Mt Hood meadows was an easy 35 minutes, so it's convenient to stay here if you are spending multiple days at the mountain.

We booked Alex’s place to celebrate a birthday in our family. The location is just a short walk to scenic trails and only a 5-minute stroll into town. Our family of nine had plenty of space to spread out, and there were activities for everyone to enjoy. The kids had a great time playing Jenga, while the adults appreciated the music from the entertainment center. It was a wonderful spot to relax and cozy up with blankets by the fireplace on chilly nights. We will definitely be returning!

While on the high end of what I usually pay for an Airbnb, I needed a peaceful place to wind up a three month personal pilgrimage and this cabin was available. The wonderful woman who cleans was still there when I arrived. She helped me with my teardrop trailer and was just so friendly. The place was clean. More importantly, it sits right across the lane from the Salmon River which you can hear easily. I enjoyed walking the lane and the nearby roads each day, breathing the clean air. Helicopter noise in the morning was a bit of a drag. I don't know if they were practicing or logging, but for about an hour beginning at 7, they buzzed overhead. As for logging, yes. Sadly. The sound of chain saws and falling trees upriver every day was heartbreaking. The kitchen is well equipped. The bed on the main floor is comfortable. And while I didn't use it, there is a big screen television in the front room.

We really appreciate Stacy’s hospitality and the comfortable rental! The beds are really comfortable and there’s plenty of seating. It’s really nice to be in the middle of the woods but close to so many fun beautiful places. Definitely check out Fernie’s coffee shop for delish coffee and breakfast sandwiches!

Beautiful location would love to bring my entire family and rent or both houses!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this space. The dogs also felt right at home. It was a peaceful area with walking trails and river around the neighborhood. We loved private hot tub in the evenings. And a couple sunny days were spent enjoying the tennis courts, basketball court, and pool. Close to hikes and Timberline, this is an incredible place.

We had a great stay at Nedra’s place! We loved the walking path in the back next to the river, it was beautiful and peaceful! We also loved the rock band and spent the bad weather day inside relaxing and playing rock band as a family. Something we never do so it was super fun! There was plenty of food places nearby so we took advantage of that as well as cooked breakfast in the fully stocked kitchen! Beautiful location, fully functional house we would definitely love to stay again!

The house was perfect for our gathering of families! The kitchen was really well equipped, the backyard beautiful and spacious, and enough room for everyone to both play and take space. John was a very responsive and supportive host. We would happily stay at his lovely spot again!

Zach’s place was great! I can imagine it would be even better in the summertime, as the community pool is just across the street. Zach was quick to respond and polite, even when the information I asked for was clearly listed in his prior message. The house was well equipped with things like a high chair and playpen. Literally the only thing we looked for that the house did not have was shot glasses! It was great. Thanks, Zach!

Hidden treasure! My family had a wonderful time at Gaurav’s place. It truly is a home away from home. We were able to enjoy the nice forested area but also had access to the amenities of a cozy home. We had everything needed at Gaurav’s place. Plenty of towels and extra sheets. The place was clean and loved that they had a washer and dryer available especially since we had a full house of kids. Access to Mount Hood Resort’s pool was huge perk! Five stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️all around and totally worth the price. Can’t wait to book again!

We love staying at this place for an annual girls’ trip - it’s so comfy and well stocked! Communication was a breeze, and we felt right at home.

We absolutely love staying at The Foxglove! Aaron is a wonderful host, the house is full of great items to make you feel right at home. The kitchen is stocked with all the items you need to cook at home, and the layout is great for us! We both work remotely and are able to set up offices, as well as have a space for relaxing and enjoying a good movie, or cozy up with a book. We are repeat vacationers to the area and always try to stay at Aaron's home if it is available. Thank you for another great stay!

Kelli’s place was as described in the photos. Such a cozy place in a quiet neighborhood. Bathrooms were cleaned and kitchen was well equipped. We had anything we needed for our stay. It’s a great place for anyone who plans to visit Mount Hood. It’s also not too far from Sandy if you needed food or groceries.

I couldn’t imagine a better Airbnb while staying at Mt Hood. The home is absolutely gorgeous, extremely well cared for, pristinely clean, conveniently located a block from grocery options and a short drive to the primary areas to play on the mountain such as skibowl, Timberline and Meadows… it’s the perfect home-base for your Mt Hood gateway.

Place was just what we were looking for. Plenty of space the 4 of us to have our own rooms, and could have accommodated many more. Felt very private for being a condo, and had good cooking amenities. The pool, though lacking in aesthetic, was really warm and appeared to be cleaned daily, I enjoyed the evening swims. Thanks for sharing the lovely space!

Crista’s cabin was extremely cozy and impeccably clean. I loved the charming wooden décor throughout the space and the unique squash-themed touches that added extra character. The location was easy to find, and it was very convenient to have a small store just a quick drive away in case we needed anything. The cabin is surrounded by beautiful nature, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I had asked Crista to add a small anniversary decoration, and she did a lovely job with it—such a thoughtful touch that made our stay even more special. The only thing to note is that the neighboring cabin to the left has a back porch that faces the area with the jacuzzi and fire pit, so there’s a bit less privacy there. However, it didn’t take away from our overall wonderful experience. Highly recommend this stay!
